2 pointsI give up with you - no-one knows how they will react to killing someone, while doing their job, or how long the effects of doing so will stay with them and no amount of 'training' will ever make it go away - train drivers are human, just like you (if you are human) and I.
-
2 pointsRight, so because you've had completely different experiences and not suffered trauma that means everyone else should just man up and get over it?
-
2 pointsHmmm... OK, here's one I just made up... What do you call a drawing on a toilet wall of a camel with 3 humps? Yep, I know, I'm wasted here!
-
2 pointsI just can't be bothered with all this rubbish any more. If you are happy to stick labels on people when they try to discuss a topic that is your choice.

2 pointsYour response doesn't surprise me. Censoring discussion by throwing inappropriate labels around seems to be the way things are done at times.

2 pointsNo one has bothered to answer why the Government that they trusted so much wanted to force vaccines on people that they knew didn't need and why were readily available treatments demonised and suppressed, you'd have to consider it was for one reason and one reason only - money!!!!

1 pointIn the first half of 2020 I was sufficiently concerned about the rapid spread of the virus across continents and the deaths and hospitalisations that resulted. I was not convinced by those who said it was no more than a cold and that night nurse was adequate. I am glad to say that as time went on that my concern became less.

1 pointI've stated what they are numerous times and the reasons why they couldn't make profits from them. At least your hanging around despite the nonsense you've been so pious about falling apart at the seams, look's like most of your ilk have done a runner. They'll all have links to Blackrock and Vanguard somewhere down the line, they're the ones who make the biggest profits from Pfizer and control much of the MSM and social media, hence why they've been able to fool people, I'm guessing it was a lot easier than they expected.
-
1 pointIndeed. Much of the drivel emanates from your keyboard. You’re coming across as an over sensitive snowflake. You get pretty offended by people reacting to events in a different way to yourself. I think that you need to man up a bit, accept that people are all different and that they respond to events in different ways. Acceptance of the complexity of human response will make you feel better, I’m sure. Then you could get back to driving around your chosen place, helmetless and free to impact your head with whichever solid object comes it’s way. God help the solid object.

1 pointHow is a train driver "...trained public official..."? Over the years there have been several incidents on our local major roads where vehicle users have hit people who have fallen from overbridges. Accounts describe how the vehicle drivers were affected and how it affected them, none expected to be in this situation. Train drivers on the other hand know that several hundred of their colleagues will experience these events every year and it could be them, several hundred will have the personal experience of seeing someone hit their train right in front of them. Some of these drivers will return to work within days and some within months depending on their capability. None of these incidents are comparable with your vast global experience ".. as a driver throughout most of the civilized world, I faced all kinds of foolish and downright dangerous folks" and the "... couple of times I was cut off, rear ended, and blindsided by fools." I am still trying to work out how a parachutist managed to jump in front of a commercial jet aircraft.

1 pointIt wouldn’t surprise me if Johnson and his Cabinet Ministers bought large amounts of stocks and shares in the covid vaccine. If they did then it’s no wonder they wanted to flog the vaccine.

1 point1) Stop trolling 2) I have no plans to ever post pics of my costumes on here 3) I'd never wear anything of the sort, unlike Sam Smith I am ALL MAN!

1 pointHave you considered the Sam Smith ludicrous costume for the Brit Awards ? (I think it may have been made in Derbyshire)

1 pointI claimed benefits around thirty years ago, for around ten months. It helped me, with rent until I returned to work. I do feel couples with children should be supported more, to encourage families to stay together. A two parent family is the best way to bring up children, not sure if governments can encourage that. There does seem to be too many benefits, bereavement benefits even. Disabled people should be able to keep some of their benefits when working, is that practical? A different tax code perhaps.

1 pointWhy are you ranting and bragging about living in a location that isn't within walking distance of facilities? You want to live in an unsustainable location? That's your choice, your problem. Interesting that when someone says "the majority of people" or "a lot of people", or "most people", you like to make out that they are including you personally in that statement. Anther one of your tactics to sow misinformation.
-
1 pointNo I didn't, you're telling porkies again. 15 minute cities is a planning concept. No one in Sheffield has ever said it's going to be adopted here, so why would there be any discussion of who's paying for what and who's building it. I'd think they understand the point just fine, but want to spread untruths and disinformation because it suits their own agenda.

1 pointDepending on the TV you might be able to connect them via bluetooth... my TV doesn't have that functionality... so, no. No, they're only really suitable for your own voice, in calls.

1 pointClearly and demonstrably nonsense, could not be further from reality... you've done nothing but disparage them and their efforts to maintain their sovereignty, and national identity. The only care you have for anyone or anything, is whether it can be used as a stick to beat the guy who beat your messiah... by a landslide. Laughable hyperbole... Trump couldn't even lead a horse to water! The first and only crisis he had to deal with, fell at the first hurdle!

1 pointHe's trying to rehabilitate his 50 years of lying, screw ups, and corruption, and getting rich as a "public servant"! Imagine a world at war again in Europe, on the brink of Nuclear Armageddon being led by Biden, Zelensky and Germany! No thanks!
-
1 pointNot me, pal! I look at life, as it is, and make the best of it, not as I want it to be! Who's the "dreamer"? I'm the only one here apparently, that cares what happens to the Ukraine people, who are being used by Zelensky and the New Liberal World Order folks (The 4th Reich?) as cannon fodder! Inevitably the Left/MSM "narrative" that Ukraine can, and is winning against Russia, without the armchair warrior West joining the fight, will fail, and the they'll be on here blaming each other (or Boris or Trump) for the useless slaughter.

1 pointWesty is copying Boris / Dorries / Mogg in his response. Before the Partygate inquiry, we all had "to wait for Sue Gray's report", and that Sue Gray was a woman of formidable integrity. Now that she has reported and done her job, she has been asked by the Leader of the Opposition to be a Chief of Staff. Did Sue Gray force Boris to go to parties during lockdown, in contravention of his own rules? No Did Sue Gray force Boris Johnson to obsfucate at the dispatch box? No Was it Sue Gray's fault that Boris Johnson doesn't know what a party is, or what his own rules are? No All these grifters like Doris and Mogg, now claiming that the partygate inquiry, and the Standards and Privileges Committee are invalid because Sue Gray has been asked by the LOTO to work for them are trying to help the greased piglet wriggle out of his responsibility in taking the blame. The 'party of personal responsibility', the Conservative Party, helmed by people trying to escape their personal responsibility'. How very Tory of them.

1 pointA Conservative government with a healthy majority that is worth it's salt would put the kibosh on this whole idea as it restricts peoples freedom of movement and harms business. It is clear that our government and council are just WEF puppets.
-
1 pointIf you actually have a look at the concept of the 15 minute city, it’s that those types of facilities are within 15 min walk or cycle of where we live. Most people in Sheffield could cycle to the city centre in 15 mins, so it’s already a 15 minute city for a lot of people. There are no plans whatsoever to implement the 15 min cities concept here so it isn’t going to cost anyone anything. Which bit of this do you not get?
-
1 pointGiven that Keir Starmer never received a fixed penalty notice for breaking lock down rules in an area where there is a Labour backed Chief Constable it is not a surprise allegations that the Downing Street investigations were politically motivated are being made now Sue Gray has accepted a job with the Labour party.

1 pointDoes it really matter if some Brexit voters were racist people? So what? The fact that voters may turn out to be racist does not affect their right to vote and, once the vote is done, the numbers are still the same in the end. Unless you say that racist people are not allowed to vote and, you can find some foolproof way of proving whether they are racist, there is nothing you can do about it anyway. We had the referendum and we went with the majority vote, which is how it should be. Why argue afterwards about how many of the voters were racists? I'm inclined to think that some of the voters were criminals and maybe even drug dealers. There may have been quite a few with mental problems too. As for PC people, who cares what they do if they are daft enough to hold such PC views. Let's get a life

1 pointPersonally I'd go a bit more expensive. I have a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds. Very loud, great tonal response. mic is crystal on calls & active noise cancellation. The great thing is that whilst nothing is being played/on call they feed external sound so you don't need to take them out to hear around you.
