The training is open to anyone who works with people and who has conversations about wellbeing and support, such as Social Prescribers, Link Workers, GPs, Health Champions, Community Workers from Community Development Organisations, Health staff, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Carers and Support PAs.

Experience a green social prescribing session as your patients would.
Learn and practice using simple nature connection tools to support your wellbeing and gain confidence in sharing them with others.
Meet your colleagues and network with people from the wider workforce.

All sessions run from 10.30am – 1pm (2.5 hours)

Come and join us at Cutlery Works for a Lino Printing Workshop!
Lino printing is a form of fine art printmaking where the printing plate is cut into lino (as in linoleum, the floor covering). The lino is then inked, a piece of paper is placed over it and pressure is applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper. The result is a linocut print! In this workshop, you be taken through the lino printing process, creating your own lino stamp that then can be used to create your own greeting cards or postcards. You can take your lino stamp home and use it again.

Join us for an evening dedicated to hedgehogs and what we can all do to help them with Hedgehog Officer, Grace Johnson.

We are delighted to host a Wild Night In with Grace Johnson from Hedgehog Street on Thursday 21st March at 7pm on Zoom.
Hedgehogs are an iconic British species, frequently topping polls of our favourite wildlife species. But sadly they have struggled in recent decades as a result of human activity. Habitat loss and fragmentation are just two of the many threats hedgehogs face.
Data from various surveys have revealed insights into urban and rural populations, with a more positive picture emerging in our urban and suburban landscape.
As our gardens and green spaces become an increasingly important stronghold for hedgehogs, engaging communities in hedgehog conservation is key to reversing declines and securing a sustainable future for the species.
In this webinar we’ll hear all about the ecology and behaviour of hedgehogs, and most importantly, what we can all do to help them.
Hedgehog Street is a partnership project between the People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS).
We look forward to seeing you there!
Tickets are ÂŁ3 suggested donation and must be booked in advance.
Thank you so much for your kind donations to attend this event. As a charity your support really does make a difference. From protecting wildlife, to helping people connect with nature and each other, every contribution helps.
