  1. The Pheasant at Sheffield Lane top has no neighbours and it's been empty ages.
  2. They are unlikely to have taken them for either. Trikes and slides are usually made of plastic these days. It was probably adults though ---------- Post added 04-10-2015 at 21:50 ---------- :
  3. Think we need to keep off speculation or posts will be removed
  4. Not sure scrapyards can take them any more but the dumpit site at Longley will
  5. Can't you see that unless he got details of both vehicles and passed them on to either the driver of the car or the police then the taking down of the van number and putting it on here is as much use as a chocolate fireguard unless the car driver happens to be a member of SF. ---------- Post added 01-10-2015 at 19:12 ---------- Unfortunately posting on here is not going out of your way. Unless the car driver is a member of SF he'll never know who did it. Going out of your way would be passing both vehicle numbers to police or at least leaving van details under windscreen wiper of the car he hit
  6. Get a professional opinion rather than someone you don't know http://sheffieldauctiongallery.com/specialist_coins.htm
  7. I have a friend who lives in the Canaries and she says Xmas is in mid 20s but the Caribbean is warmer
  8. Do you realise that after you have sorted it Veolia chuck it all back together ageean in the back of the lorry
  9. Doesn't matter whether it's private land, the police will pass insurance details on
  10. Actually they are legally obliged to report an accident with a dog. They can be reported for leaving the scene the same as they would if they had hit a person
  11. Don't think people are having a go, they are just giving sound advice. The car owner is unlikely to read this and ASDAs cameras probably won't cover car park. The best people to inform are the police but they might have difficulty tracing the owner of the car without a registration number. I would have left a note on the car. I know they have the number of the trick but without knowing the details of the car even the police will have difficulty passing the insurance details on
  12. You think the Wicker is full of young professionals? LOL. Seriously, the Wicker isn't anywhere near as intimidating to the same extent as some parts of Page Hall, Shiregreen, Firth Park and Parsons Cross
  13. It was well publicised so you should have had the forethought to set off earlier and find an alternative route and I don't tell lies ---------- Post added 29-09-2015 at 07:34 ---------- You made no attempt to think for yourself and work out how to go a different way or set off earlier when you knew there may be delays. Are you serious? Blame everybody else when a little forethought would have got you there in time
  14. I blame that cow for the state this country is in now. I find it hard to believe how hard nosed she was in destroying the country she clailmed to love. She didn't know the meaning of the word love
  15. Don't exaggerate. It wasn't closed all day. There are plenty of other ways in and out of Hillsborough, we went to Argos at 1230 and the traffic was flowing freely. People have no gumption if they can't find a way round it
  16. Well I'd like to recommend Joiner Andy. Some thieving bar steward nicked his van and all his tools recently and he is just getting back on his feet. He is also on FB as Andrew Hall Joiner as is a picture of the van
  17. I realise now that there was more than one charity but our friend ran in it for the Childrens Hospital ---------- Post added 27-09-2015 at 19:57 ---------- It wasn't much of an inconvenience. I live North of Sheffield and there ae plenty of ways to avoid Penistone road
  18. They don't take them now but if you live in a council property you are allowed 3 free collection of up to 3 items per year after that it's £18 per collection. You can check this on Veolias website
  19. Yes and unless the OP has never parked there before it's unlikely he wasn't aware of the restriction but thought he'd chance it once too often
  20. There are plenty of other ways to get to childrens hospital I'm sure. This race was to raise money for it for crying out loud. Some people just can't see the bigger picture, they think the world revolves round them. ---------- Post added 27-09-2015 at 15:27 ---------- Penistone road is not the only artery, there's allus Middlewood and Barnsley Road. We went down there about noon and everything seemed OK. Moving little darlings into halls of residence can be done in afternoon. Let's face it not many students get up in the morning at weekends anyway. How selfish some people are
  21. Flaming hell. Closing Penistone road on a Sunday morning in aid of the Childrens hospital is no big deal. There are other routes that serve the North of Sheffield. Reel your necks in the moaners. Oh and BTW well done Bushbaby for taking part, will give you a donation when I see thee next
  22. Do you mean Metro ---------- Post added 27-09-2015 at 11:24 ---------- We have a free Daily paper now Mon-Fri on buses and trams ---------- Post added 27-09-2015 at 11:26 ---------- It's nowt t do with it being rubbish but it costs money, we have a free paper and all the info from the Star is available free online
