  1. I can’t “picture” anything with the rambling above. Do you just mean that your sink drainer is covered with a white stinky residue after being wiped clean with tap water that has dried up? If so, you could have just said that. The following link will show you the impurities in your water. https://www.stwater.co.uk/my-supply/water-quality/check-my-water-quality/
  2. Change password to be unique for everything and set-up two-factor authentication where offered. Check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if it identifies where your credentials were leaked. People will use the email and password along with variations of it, to test access to other sites too. This will be scripted with little user interaction trying credentials they have on many sites, potentially thousands of queries a second. So if you have used the same password for various online sites, it’s advisable you change them. It doesn’t matter how secure and protective you are of your credentials, you still have to trust in the various companies to hold your data 100% secure. That will never be a reality and there will always be people who can bypass the protectiosn put in place. The best you can do is keep your credentials unique.
  3. I received a bus lane violation from Glossop road yesterday after driving through the gate on Boxing day at 4:17pm. Didn’t even realise there are 2 gates so didn’t know i’d breached any rules. Checked that Bank Holidays were still valid. Checked the Traffic Regulation Order. Checked the signs and markings on Google Street View. Paid online about an hour later. No point in appealing, it’s all valid and will only cost you more in time and money if you don’t. Now if it was a private parking firm, that’s a different matter entirely.
  4. Prices start at £45 depending on the model from apple directly >> https://support.apple.com/en-gb/iphone/repair/service/pricing It’s a shame you didn’t enquire 2 weeks ago as it was only £25 then.
  5. A mirrored or parity RAID configuration should never be considered as “protection”. A separate backup should always be present if you cannot lose the files. Likewise with your reference to speed, any modern stand-alone/single disk would not have a problem streaming multiple 4K videos concurrently so would not be a reason just to have a RAID configuration. Whether the rest of the infrastructure could handle the bandwidth is another matter though. If you want a stable and higly configurable router, take a look at the Draytek models. They may be overkill for what you require but the price is justified.
  6. Hermes are terrible. Every Amazon return I have sent with them has had some sort of issue. Fortunately, Amazon are always excellent in dealing with it though. I returned 2 parcels on the 28th of December. Same time, same place, same address, separate labels with a single tracking number. One parcel arrived and was processed by Amazon, the other; who’s knows where it is. Amazon refunded after calling and will deal with the shambles company that is Hermes to sort it out. I once tried to contact them. Had to do it through “chat”. Complete waste of time. They couldn't call me “as they don’t call customers”, and I couldn’t call them as they don’t have incoming call lines. When their Amazon/ebay contracts run out, I doubt it would be renewed given the abysmal service. Then they will go bust.
  7. Should be able to redirect to a collection point online using thetracking info. Maybe...
  8. Currys is probably the worst place you could shop for a new tv. Richer Sounds is my recommendation with John Lewis price matching not far behind.
  9. The link I provided has a checkbox to show only “print locations” only. Used it many times.

  11. This is by far the easiest, safest and “cleanest” method.
  12. You will always need a landline unless you have a Virgin Media cable connection. Some companies may price it differently (ie the line rental is part of the overall cost or you don’t actually have a telephone service), but the land line connection is always required and leased from BT Wholesale (the is how the internet is fed to your household). There are alternative expensive solutions available in certain parts of the U.K. or new residential complexes etc (independent fibre providers, satallite or 4G suppliers), but these are fairly restricted and non-standard. This was a requirement for the tv service. It proved the satellite box and card were being used at the address being billed/seviced etc.
  13. How do you know the source was this install, what is it, and where did it come from? What virus/malware was installed?
  14. Why not just leave the section blank? What point are they trying to prove?
  15. There are no exit barriers at all? I assume you must type your registration into the ticket machine you pay at then?
  16. Did you exit through an entrance? Wouldn’t alot of people just exit through this way if there is no barrier forcing them to pay?
  17. For what reason did you list your relgion as ‘jedi knight’?
  18. I once saw an alien. It was in a phonebox on Carlisle Street about 3am on Sunday morning. No lies.
  19. A full factory reset/restore cannot be performed without disabling “find my phone” (which is essentially the icloud lock). Has he just reset the settings to default instead? In which case it should just ask for the iCloud ID and password on start-up.
  20. Never mind. Always next year.
  21. You cannot claim legal representation costs in a small claims track. Certain small costs can be recovered, but not those of any assigned legal representative. The detail related to costs in statute can be found here >> https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part27#27.14 But as a simple overview of what that refers to is here. Source >> https://www.fosters-solicitors.co.uk/news/litigation/the-small-claims-track-who-pays/651 Under Part 27 of the Civil Procedure Rules that govern civil disputes, the court will rarely make an order for the losing party to pay sums in respect of the winning party's 'costs, fees and expenses', e.g. legal fees. There are exceptions to the general rule however which allow the court discretion to make an award for: The fixed costs attributable to issuing the claim; Court fees paid by the issuing party; Travel and accommodation expenses which a witness reasonably incurs in attending a hearing; Fees incurred in the instruction of an expert to attend the hearing (limited to ÂŁ200).
  22. And this tells you the tenants religion? Doubtful. Again, part of the issue. Confuising ethnicity and religion. And there we have it. Doesn’t this tell you something if your Muslim members or their representitive did not raise this misinformed ignorant “concern”?
