Will I Be Able To Use A Banking App Without A Sim Card In The Phone.
Happ replied to Janus's topic in General Discussions
Are you referring to the banking app itself or functions such as Apple Pay or Google Pay etc? The applications wonât work without an internet connection, whether that be via WiFi or cellular, but the payment processes will. -

Or terrorism. But you could argue indoctrination of an ideology that approves of such attacks is also a mental health issue. -

How Does The Camera System Work M1 J34 To J33?
Happ replied to Janus's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
My understanding is that the M1 cameras do not have the suggested buffer that is thought to be on other networks. I believe there was a 3mph cushion when first introduced but I was advised by someone in the RAC that it was reduced to 1mph a long time ago. Itâs probably why you see them flash so often as people coast past at the limit. Some car speedos donât read the true speed - they say 33 but you are doing 30, but this can be changed to read true in coding and most modern cars give the true speed by default now. Obviously there are tolerances on how accurate that is as well - by law a speedo van read 10% faster than you are travelling, but never lower. There is only 1 camera between 34 and 33 in both directions. I have seen the matrix signs switch speeds from say 60mto 50 and always wondered what happens if you are going past the camera and that exact time - you would hope there is a 10 second delay or something before the sense triggers. I suppose youâll find out whats going on within the next 10 days⊠-
Couldnât be further from the truth. You have to read between the lines in the way the media portray the âwinsâ. Russia have one of the biggest active armed forces in the world and a few tens of thousands killed in Ukraine doesnât even dent that number.

This is how it works in Canada too. Retail systems round up to the nearest 5p for cash sales.

Bonkers Insurance Situation. Car Versus Dog, Read On.
Happ replied to Janus's topic in General Discussions
It will be a situation of ââcomputer says noâ. The person at the end of the phone will just be following a checkbox exercise and the firwt question will be âis the dog yoursâ - and if the answer is ânoâ, end of the program. Who said the future is bright? -
If its used as a donor car or scrap - not for driving.

This has been written with an assumption that the reader would know why âadjustmentsâ and specific considerations for your daughter would have to be made or considered. Where as some forum members may know some your background, I and others would not - are you able to clarify further, please?

The distinction is between the consumers and those enabling or facilitating the distribution. No-one is confused by the fact that copyright infringement is illegal, its just not enforceable, and never will be, down at the user level. And in my personal opinion, it never should be. Some industries realised this a long time ago and took an about turn. Its how we ended up with paid for services such as Spotify and Netflix etc. New platforms have to be embraced, not restricted. Itâll never end. Piratebay is easily accessible. Those making the rules are 20 years behind the kids coming through school with regard to technology. It doesnât matter what restrictions are put in place, they will ALWAYS be bypassed. Censorship of the internet is just not possible.

This must be well documented then. I think as Geared referenced above, I doubt they were criminal proceedings. The implications of going down that route would be never ending and have major consequences for the industries themselves. Once its been uploaded to the internet, its free and accessible forever. Thats it and always will be. Ask Pamela Tommy. Yes, they were âsellingâ. I am referring purely to the consumers. Selling or distributing, outside of peer to peer, is completely different.

How did this happen? What were they officially prosecuted for and in which court?
-
As suggested, it will never ever happen. End users will never be targeted. Its just not possible to prove anything, even if admitted. We went through the same suggestions with downloading music etc - all the way back to Morpheus, Napster and e-donkey. Media piracy will always be consumed and its been proven it does not hurt the market to the extents they would like to believe. No-one will ever be a target for criminal proceedings for watching/listening to something they did not pay for. Its like suggesting you can be punished for listening to a pirate radio station. And lets not get onto TV licensing.

This is about raids on the source of the streams - not those streaming. That will never ever happen.

So what is wrong with the post? Even when questioned directly you still didnât enlighten anybody. You canât just say someone is incoorect without giving details - especially on a post where someone is specifically asking for direction.

I used to live on Langsett Road for a number of years and the noise didnât bother me. However, what did become a problem was the iron fallout from either the wheels grinding on the tracks, and/or the electricity boom and overhead lines. Tiny microscopic iron filings go up in the air, land all over your cars paintwork, the sun heats them up so they melt into the clear coat, them it rains and they rust. What you end up with, certainly on light coloured cars, is tiny rusty flecks completely covering your car. You cannot wash them off and the only real way of ridding them, is to spend hours clay-barring the paint work. I ended up having to park the car a few streets away after having the paint corrected. I wouldnât live on the tram route ever again due to this.

Of course thats the reasonâŠ

The government allowed this to happen in the first place! How conditioned must we be to see this as real help?

Been on for at least a month. In fact, it doesnât really get switched off except for going to bed. The temperature is set on the thermostat (22c usually), and if it drops below that, the heating comes on.

You should probably start driving, catch a bus, or get a lift from a friend. Seems you have excluded yourself from most taxi firms on frivolous irrelevant points.
