  1. After watching last nights episode it's put me right off custard!!
  2. Get some Lambrini - If you don't like it you can always clean your paint brushes out with it.
  3. This happened to me, only with a car. I saw one of my old cars on a forecourt about 4 years after I'd sold it. Out of curiosity I went and had a look. The guy on the car lot was giving me the all the spiel about genuine mileage and everything, only for me to tell him I'd got rid of it with double the mileage on it than what he was alleging. Drove past later that day and guess what - It had disappeared. True story
  4. About 10 years ago I bought a 1990 E32 730i for £600. It was the best car I've ever had, everything was electric. even the headrests went up and down electrically. Only problem was it did around 10 MPG around town and that was the 3L V8 auto.
  5. A lot of people, including myself, use the right hand lane for turning left towards Holme Lane. By doing so it puts you in the correct lane (RH) to go straight on at Hillsborough corner and so avoiding the drivers turning left into the car park behind the shops and the drivers who won't let you into the RH lane further along.
  6. He was also in Citizen Smith with Robert Lindsay. He played Charlie Johnson, the father of Wolfie's girlfriend.
  7. I hope it wasn't Bakewell Winter Wonderland
  8. According to AA route finder it's 3.2 miles so not really a short walk, more like an hours walk. possibly tram to Arena/Centertainment then walk up Broughton Lane/Greenland Road.
  9. IMO - 1. Mrs Clause (M&S) 2. Kevin the carrot (Aldi) 3. Buster the Boxer (John Lewis) - Going on previous years I think it's a pretty poor show from JL this year.
  10. When I was working at Canary Wharf, I used to take the A1, A14, M11 route into London and it used to take between 2 3/4 and 3 hours.
  11. Don't know about the estate version but I have the hatchback and the boot is massive, although it is quite deep. the good thing is you don't have to lift the back seat bases up to fold the backs down, and they sit flush with the boot floor. With the seats folded down you can get a 1.8m (almost 6ft) length in with no problems.
  12. Surely if she declares it financially it shouldn't be a problem (if she wins the by election of course)
  13. That's what I love about SF, you try and help out an OP that's had no responses for a few days and you just get shot down for it.
  14. Try these https://www.thebrilliantbakers.co.uk/birthday-cakes-sheffield/
  15. Try Hillsborough Fencing. They're on Livesey Street, next to Hillsborough College.
  16. Don't know about inward bound, but outward bound Weedon Street is closed so all traffic has to go along Attercliffe Road towards Meadowhall.
  17. Veolia have emptied our School bins today, so they're operating some sort of service.
  18. I couldn't find one about healthy eating, but here's Charlie the Cat from the 70's
  19. So because we all see people using mobiles whilst driving, let's make it legal . Drivers can't be bothered to stick to the speed limit - let's increase the speed limits.
  20. I like to start loading up the conveyor belt behind the person in front without putting a "next customer" sign in between. I do leave a bit of a space between theirs and my shopping, but the panic in their face is priceless that they somehow think that the checkout operator might carry on and start scanning my shopping as well.
  21. http://teafactsandreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2009/08/gluten-in-tea-bags.html. It's an old link and I think most companies heat seal tea bags nowadays, but it's still best to check the box.
