  1. It's not the one down the road but it is in the area.
  2. I work at a School close to Limpsfield and it's exactly the same here. People park wherever they want and don't give a <removed> about anyone else. Some will even park on the local residents driveways if it means they don't have to walk that extra 20 yards. One of our parents is late picking up their child every day because he knows that the School car park gate is opened at 3.10 and he will be able to park within 5 Yards of the main gate. The sad thing about it all is the fact that because it's outside the School boundary there is very little the School can do about the idiots on the road.
  3. It's no worse than what happens outside most Primary Schools everyday.
  4. Aldi have said they're closing the Meadowhall branch because they're opening a bigger one at Drakehouse - Like it's a minute further up the road
  5. keep your eyes peeled because although they only came into circulation this week, they've been making them since last year so a lot of the early ones are stamped 2016 and are selling on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-new-2016-dated-12-Sided-UK-1-One-Pound-Coin-new-design-/322467085844?hash=item4b14893e14:g:t4IAAOSwol5Y29~6
  6. Sorry, my mistake, I actually meant Ralph Ineson. - He's done loads of commercials including Booking.com, Dacia cars, Ikea, William Hill
  7. You might mean Neil Innes. Robert Peston - it's not so much his voice, but the.....way.....heeee..........draaaaags out his words.
  8. Talking to the guy on the checkout this morning and he was saying it's not definite yet. The lease for the building runs out in April and Aldi is trying to negotiate a new deal with the landlord.
  9. Jacksons are now on Rutland road, Just down from MKM builders merchants.
  10. Did you not turn on "find my phone" when you bought it?
  11. Fleetfield Chemicals - Warren St. S4 7WT, they supply most schools in Sheffield.
  12. Which seems to open at 8 in the morning. Also, it seems they've all slept with each other as well.
  13. As the title suggest, does anyone know where I can buy mooli (it's a kind of Radish).
  14. Has anyone else encountered the long queues at reception when there's only one member of staff on at peak times and everyone seems to want to buy a cup of coffee. They should have a fast track scanner, as they have at Hillsborough leisure centre, for members that have booked onto classes. IMO the reception staff at Concord are the most miserable in all the SIV venues. TO SIV - MOVE THE COFFEE MACHINE FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER!! Rant over!!!
  15. I asked him how much the fish was that looked ill - he answered sick squid........
  16. You spend around 25K on a car which is a well known target for thieves but don't have a tracker on it which costs a couple of hundred quid.
  17. I love the fact that one little backstreet can employ so many people. Just about everyone works, albeit in the factory, the pub, cornershop, garage, bistro, kebab shop, doctors surgery. People just walk out of one job into the next.
  18. QUOTE=Tek-no-logic;11599340]One inconsiderate bar steward rides up the parkway towards Norton between 4:30 am and 5:30 am. I am usually awake at these times and the biker is obviously speeding, he is on a very powerful bike making a very powerful sound I know he is speeding due to me actually seeing him fly past as a blur. His bike has white neon lighting on the side near the engine. I've been trying to catch the licence plate to report him as he is going to kill himself one day (hopefully) and I'd like to see him get in trouble for speeding most of his inconsiderate life. Wishing someone dead because they make a bit of noise
  19. Buying cars on ebay is just like buying a car from anywhere, if it's no good walk away. I went up to Chorley to by a Mercedes Vito van I'd seen on Ebay, looked Ok on the pictures, and the guy assured me it was worth the train fare up there. He met me at the station, took me to the van which was parked in the car park and 10 minutes later, after a few choice words, I was stood on the platform waiting for the next train home. The van was a total shed!!! I just put it down to experience.
  20. Thing is it's nothing new, we were wearing ripped jeans in the 80s. Fashions come and fashions go.
  21. My latest gripe are drivers who are turning right but don't move over to the middle of the road and therefore not leaving enough space to get round them.
  22. J&S in Doncaster (on Marshgate, next to the Prison)
  23. Try these - http://www.therosettecompany.co.uk/ they're based in dronfield.
  24. Give Stuart at Bill Beevers a call. He will pick the bike up if you can't get it to him. He's on Deep Lane S5 (Woolley Wood Bottom) and his no. is 07740 410717.
