Hi all, just wondering if anyone has used these guys to do any work on their Beemers. A couple of people have recommended them to me but just wanted to get a wider opinion. It's not just minor work, I need the timing chain changing on the dreaded N47 engine.

Private Parking Ticket Megathread (Part 2)

If you're that worried then pay it. You've asked peoples opinion and when they give it you question it. -
Yes, but I didn't recommend anywhere. People do book these holidays just to see the Northern Lights and nothing more, and a lot of people come back disappointed.
-
I didn't recommend going anywhere just to see the northern lights. I do agree though Norway and, in my opinion, the whole of Scandinavia is beautiful, if not a tad expensive once your there.

YKW 1T is on a driving instructors car, he lives at Sheffield Lane Top.

The problem is you can pay a fortune to go and see the northern lights, be it Iceland, or the northern areas of Scandinavia and still see nothing, it all depends on the solar activity and the weather where you are. We were lucky enough to be in Lapland 3 years ago (150 miles inside the Arctic circle) and saw the northern lights loads of times. Also, because we only got 2 hours of daylight, we could see them in the afternoon as it went dark around 1pm.

Was that the one called Toools (it really did have 3 "O"s and it's not a typo). https://www.yell.com/static/image/c31a6112-d82d-478a-be57-f6ac5e23e555_image_jpeg?t=tr/w:200/h:200/m:FitCrop -
The sad truth is that with funding as it is, many schools cannot afford supply staff to cover sickness and make do with TA's and other support staff. That's the issue in the school where I work anyway.

What I don't understand is if they are cleaning your gutters, why are they on the roof. Most can be done off ladders.

Like Oxford, should Sheffield ban all non electric vehicles?
AMR67 replied to rogets's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
That would give you an 8 mile diameter, which would virtually wipe out the whole of Sheffield, even Meadowhall. -
Want to see some injustice in regards to council tax?
AMR67 replied to paula4sheff's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
But your local MP is not on the Council so you could vote Labour in a General Election, then vote for a non Labour candidate in the local elections. If enough people did it then Labour would eventually be defeated in Sheffield. -
And when your in you can't leave cos you're usually stuck to the floor.
-
Fair enough, hope you get it sorted.

You've obviously never seen "Love thy Neighbour" from the 70s. It was massive then but watching it now makes you cringe.

As jane2008 mentioned, it was called Keep it in the Family with Robert Gillespie playing Dudley Rush.

"On the up" with Dennis Waterman - now that was bad.

A lot of people leave dashcams in the vehicle all the time as they have sensors on them so if the vehicle gets bumped, say in a car park, the camera immediately starts recording.

Onion Bhaji shop Staniforth Road..where's it gone?
AMR67 replied to LegzEleven's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Masterchef used to do the round, ball shaped bhajis, not like the flat ones you tend to get nowadays.
