  1. Try Thurgoland Travel You'll need to use Google to get the details though. I've used them Penistone to Manchester airport.
  2. Hi. Does anyone know if anyone has taken over the plight of feral cats, since Jacquie has left us? I went trapping with her a couple of times and was wondering if there was any trapping to be done lately.
  3. The road is shut off near wasabisabi due to a 2 car x 1 cyclist accident. Avoid London Rd Surrounding roads are gridlocked too. Hope all involved ok.
  4. Funnily enough, I was driving behind a police car this morning and it made 3 turns without indicating.
  5. I don't think it is the 'working class' that is the issue. The working class are people who slog their guts out, in the hope that they will make their kids' lives better. The working class are the battlers that turn up to work every day and watch their rich bosses swan into work late in their BMWs and Mercs. I think the issue is more with the benefits kids who don't have good role models, or the rich people who have a sense on entitlement, and think that everyone else is going to do everything for them - including being substitute parents.
  6. I wish he would pull his dax up..I'm fed up with seing his crack everytime he turns around.
  7. What will they stop searching for first, the missing plane with 227 people, or Madeline Mccann?
  8. Awwww Lotti, that is really nice of you to worry about the driver. I hope your doggie is Ok, I bet is isn't going to go running off again anytime soon.
  9. Why not go to The Three Valleys Beer Festival, it is free, and a GREAT day out.
  10. I'll help you there. I used to have room to park on my street, but recently, a right selfish git has been taking up extra spaces. There isn't any room for my wee car anymore, unless I get home at 5 and pay for 30 minutes to ensure a spot.
  11. There was a fair amount of the road closed off. I hope everyone involved is Ok. Is the road open now?
  12. I really like it. I just wish the 'locals' had similar accents.
  13. Eyam is a good day out. It was devastated by the plague in the 1600s and is more.or less a living museum. Pretty gruesome and may be of interest to a teen. There are some good walks in the Peak District- and if you are coming around Christmas time, there is a good chance there will be snow. (depending on what part of NZ You're from, that could be novel) Head down to Nottingham castle for some Robin Hood type fun. You could try taking him to a football match as well? Lots to do over here.,
  14. I get woken up several times a week because of a snoring dog, even though she is downstairs and I sleep upstairs. Does anyone else have a dog that not only snores, but roars like an old school bus?
  15. Put a sock in it, you lot. I bet you all think you're a shoe in for ' funniest post', eh?
  16. I've not started watching season 4 yet, but I'm looking forward to a dud marathon when it is released. I'm just wondering.g why all the zombies are still running around. I would think that the maggots, bacteria and rotten flesh would have reduced the zombies to a oils of bones by now. The survivors wouldnt have herds to deal with, just the odd pocket or two of recently reanimated corpses.
  17. I know of a very good pr company. I dont work for them, but they are in the same business Park as my company. If you would like details, pm me.
  18. I would go to Citizens Advice. You are definitely not to blame and you shouldn't have to pay. That is just crazy. What is the world coming to when a lorry driver won't pull over to swap details when he is so obviously at fault. Track him down. Go to the depot and find out who was in that area at the time of the incident - they may have tracking devices on the trucks. Where there is a claim, there will be someone to blame.
  19. I'm not sure if it is still going, buy the Bike Tree in Dore used to have a group.
  20. It was a wonderful day. Your boys speech was so sweet, I hope someone videoed it. Congrats to you both
  21. thanks for all the advice. The hedgehog packed up and moved out. I'm not sure if the girls would have a go at it, but they are incredibly curious about everything and don;t think they have sopped looking for the poor little thing.
