My dogs keep going for it. Trust me, I'd love to keep it here, but the doggies wont have it.

Hi, I have a small garden and my dogs have just found a hedgehog living in their play tunnel. They are inquisitive dogs and I don't want them harassing the poor creature, but I can't keep them in the house all day and all night. I have no idea how the hedgehog got into our garden because there are brick walls all around it. If I knew how it got into our yard, I'd make a safe place for it so the dogs can't get near it, but I don't want to block it's exit route by guessing. Can hedgehogs be relocated, or do I need to wait and see it it just moves on? It is quite a biggie.

I hate driving behind them- thick, black smoke spewing out of the exhauts is disgusting. -

Australians protest about shark cull
Scozzie replied to taxman's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
I had a friend who was snorkelling off the coast in QLD and he was attacked by a shark. He and his mates dragged it to shore, killed it, chopped it up and whacked it on the BBQ. nom, nom, nom. Granted, it was only a small species - about 1.5 metres but it still counts, doesn't it? -
Problems over in S18 as well. I'm so over O2. I'm changing as soon as the Sony Z1 mini is released.

Live Band Pubs in Dronfield,Dore,Totley,Millhouses or near ??
Scozzie replied to 5iron2's topic in Going out in Sheffield
The White Swan at Dronfield bottom, the Miners Arms and the newly re-opened Talbot Arms have good music. Keep an eye out for JunkYard Dog - they are a great local band. http://dronfielddigital.co.uk/white-swan-quiz-night/ -
Arvo- us Aussies shorten all our words so we have more time for drinking and swearing. I saw the movie and honestly think that they could reduce the movie by half by speeding up the talking to normal speed and removing about a dozen scenes of Bilbo looking at the ring. I liked it, but I'd prefer if they didn't have such tight close ups during the fight scenes. I noticed the music was all the way through as well. no shortage of it at all.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_%26_Valerie_Taylor Ron Taylor will be turning in his grave. I'm sure Valerie will be making waves about it. They showed many Taylor documentories in the 80's and 90's, so sharks were shown in a sympathetic light- especially Great Whites. I think it is a horrible thing to be culling sharks (although some do make great eating). -
I'm off to see it this arvo. If it is a tad boring, at least i have the eye candy of Aiden Turner and Richard Armitage to keep me interested.

The post office staff making you feel uncomfortable
Scozzie replied to nicola1234's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Don't ever go to the Post Office in Millhouse Green near Penistone. If they don't like the look of your package, they'll refuse to send it, then kick you oit of the place if you dare ask why. I've been listening to people talk about the terrible attitude of the staff in there for about 3 years now. -
Nasty nasty woman in Meadowhall car park
Scozzie replied to Rikbrittain's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Car-park Karma (or Car-ma) is a big thing. She lost the 2 other car spots because she has bad car-ma...and will have trouble finding spots as long as this behaviour continues. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. -
Please neuter your tom cats pilgrim street burngreave
Scozzie replied to magsie's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
Female cats can get neutered too. Has anyone been back to Homesfield to see if that lady is still letting ferals breed in her hedges? -
Stood up to go too bed last night after the back pain got to great and fell over because my legs decided they didn't want to work. Took some strong medication I picked up in the USA. Still couldn't walk, but at least the pain went away. I kinda wish my BF had videoed me because (it felt like) I was the witch in the Wizard of Oz while she was melting. I kinda dropped vertically in slow motion. Slow enough to turn to him and say 'uh oh, you'll have to get your own beer'

I'd just like to give a big round of applause to the council for clearing this so quickly......NOT! Still using temporary traffic lights to divert traffic around a fallen tree and a bit of a land slide. I'm sure the plastic cones are making everyone feel much safer about a dodgy hillside.

I went to an 'Orphans Christmas' a couple of years ago. A Christmas for everyone who was going to be alone at Christmas. We ended up having Halal chickens because there were Muslims that wanted to join us. We thought it was strange until we looked around and realised there weren't any actual Christians there! It was so much fun,

Incest cult discovered in Australia
Scozzie replied to melthebell's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Nah, Dronfield is the wife swapping capital of the UK. ..... And my family hasn't been in Barnsley for a whole 2 generations. (Melthebell, it is Aussies by the way- Ozzie is a singer and also a pink ostrich. I realise that by that thinking, my I'd should the Scaussie, or Scossie, but neither really seemed to make sense) -

They make movies about things like this- but they are all based in Tasmania. Can't believe something like this has happened OUTside the movies. -
Appalled at dogs killing a woman
Scozzie replied to fairyworld14's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Is that the woman who's own dogs mauled her while she was having an epilectic fit. That she kept even after one had reacted badly during other fits? Different news stories (depending on the bias) have reported different things. Some neighbours have said the 'big' dog. Was soft as a brush, but didn't like it when the lass had fits. Others have said they were always dangerous. I think if a dog goes into attack mode when someone is at their weakest, that is a valid reason to rehome. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/dec/11/leeds-dog-attack-woman-dies -
I can't give you route advice, only that you be safe. A helmet is good, but please make yourself visible with high viz/ refecter clothes and a front and rear light too, please. Stay safe and good luck with finding a great rout.

The service is terrible though.

They hadn't cleared it by the time I was going through at 5:30- we were detoured up the hill. Whoever it was flashing their lights and beeping, I found it quite un called for- everyone was stuck in traffic and being blinded didn't make it any more enjoyable!

Are there any celebrities on it? I've seen a couple of episodes over the years and ot seems to be a cross between 'I want to be a celebrity by the time I get out of here' and 'I used to be a celebrity, please recognise me again'
