  1. Most likely the power supply is broken, if its not that then its the motherboard or the wires from the motherboard to the switch or the switch is faulty.
  2. RJ45 cables can be as long as 100M, so running 2 cables would be your best option.
  3. Ian, try and boot to safe mode or windows diagnostic etc then do a system restore from a previous date, if you are struggling then best to take it to someone who can buddy.

  11. It would cost you a bit, something like that would need to be done live.
  12. Wind can go under the floor and up the chimney sometimes in to the living room. Also do you have a bathroom and kitchen fan, if so make sure they have a back draft shutter installed to stop wind from blowing in. I would use some smoke bombs on a windy day outside the house to see where its blowing through too.
  13. You have a good phone but with a tatty operating system, I know because I've got windows phone similar to yours and used to have Android in the pass.
  14. Correct, use 10mm cable instead when going between any insulation.
  15. Its not the sky router you need to set... You set the camera to use manual IP address, then add in the IP address yourself. It will also add the DNS itself, if not then make sure DNS is correct too.
  16. Plug it in and try it Jackko, if there is a fault on it, the fuse will blow, use a 5amp fuse. The capacitors are low voltage because you can see the step-down transformer, the terminals wouldn't be expose as they are if they were high voltage capacitors. Electronics is a hobby of mine mate.

  18. Its a currency, but instead of paper notes and coins etc, its computer based currency. Websites and other company's are starting to accept bitcoin. If only I had bought £100 worth last year, it would have been worth £350 today. If I bought them in 2013, it would be worth £3000 now.
  19. Sounds interesting! How did you do that??
  20. Solomon1, Funny just today I was on blockchain, I almost bought some but it was taking a while to find a seller, I did ask for a strange amount tho. Will try bitbargain later on. Have you heard of digitalcoinstore? It seems way too easy to buy from them and i cannot find any reviews for them. They send you a mail to deposit mail to their bank which seems odd???
  21. Thanks bkcin, I will certainly look in to this!
  22. Hi there, does anyone know how to buy bitcoins? What site do you use and how you sell them on etc??? Ta
  23. That's exactly what I had to do in my old job, for months and months I was writing documents explaining how to do my job for guys in India (alarm bells started ringing). I decided to go to collage at this time to learn and qualify as an electrician, it took me a few years and hard work but I got there and I'm now working as an electrician. The other guy who I worked with too had to write up documents like me, then he was made redundant a year after I left. All I can say is I wished I done it earlier
  24. I'm after some bitcoin, how much do you have??
  25. 70v is plenty enough, you will have one LED in the strip that's not working and stopping the rest working because they are connected in series (just like Christmas tree lights how they work) Shorting out one LED at a time will eventually make the rest of the strip work, that LED will be the faulty one and requires replacing.
