Gibraltar leads the vaccine race.

Over 105% of the population vaccinated

Not sure how you get 105%, did you not do maths in school.

Gibraltar is 99% vaccinated and had a little upsurge in cases in August.

Israeli Government funded scientists publishing in mainstream scientific journals, picked up by mainstream media.

You are getting desperate.

Other recent headlines from "...arguably the world leaders in covid vaccination".

"Pfizer BioNTech vaccine reduced cases by 94% in Israel, shows peer reviewed study".

"Covid vaccine could be rolled out to children by autumn."

"Two doses of Pfizer vaccine are “highly effective” against infection, hospital admission, and death, study finds".

"Israel sees new infections plummet following vaccinations".

"More young children are being infected in Israel and Italy, emerging data suggest".

If two doses of Pfizer are that effective you won't be bothering with the booster I assume?

If anyone is really interested in the information coming out of Israel, the AAAS has just published this:

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2021/08/grim-warning-israel-vaccination-blunts-does-not-defeat-delta

Headlines: Vacccines stop delta from making you ill. Vaccines don’t prevent infection. Plenty of other stuff in there, but it requires an attention span and a bit of thought.

Lol I was wondering about the 105 per cent too, maybe they vaccinated some from another country

You mean like all those Spaniards who cross the border every day to do their jobs in Gibraltar?

Nice find. It is a pity that they did not do a double blind randomised controlled trial though. Although it's strongly suggestive of waning immunity, the people who got the vaccine early and are now showing higher rates of breakthrough infection don't match the later vaccine recipients in terms of age or presumably behaviour although the preprint authors seem to have attempted some kind of partial fix-up.

You can post as many pro vaccine stats as you want but the fact of the matter is that people are still getting ill and being hospitalised who've had two jabs, no escaping the fact.

There are often intermediates between perfect and hopeless. This applies to evidence, vaccines, the ability of masks to filter, the benefits of social distancing, ...

There's also no escaping the fact that far less are getting ill enough to require hospitalisation, or ill enough to die.
