The Sony distribution centre is nothing to do with brwxit.

As before... like Honda, Japanese companies moving out of the UK aren't going to mention Brexit... but everyone knows, just like Honda, that Brexit is a factor.

If you believe the issues highlighted, none of which you appear to be able to dispute, will have been no conseqence or consideration whatsoever... I've got a bridge to sell you :hihi:

Your bathstore story is. If they are importing a lot, their costs will have gone up. It will affect companies who import more than their competitors do. If their competitors import the same amount,  all their costs will raise proportionally of course. So it depends how elastic the market is for their product.

Not very.. it would seem, hence their main competitor went bust in March, for similar reasons...

Thankfully that trend isn't as widespread as you'd hope.

It's not as I'd hope at all, Id rather there was no trend... I voted remain ;)

Employment and wage growth are both continuing.

Indeed, good news.. for the moment.

So, this NI plan of yours? Any news on that? I'm really interested in that van... and no, I'm not changing the subject, I'm happy to talk about both.

It’s not just the increase cost of imports - consumer confidence was specifically highlighted. It’s not just whether demand is affected by price.

How can shrinking consumer confidence reconcile with record employment and wage growth, one wonders?

There is not record employment for young people in most of the EU, as unemployment in most member states is mainly at double-digit rates (more than 20% in France and above 30% in Greece, Spain and Italy).

The youth of the UK should thank the heavens that soon they will not be living in the workers paradise which ensures that people like them do not have employment.

In France this is simply because a much higher proportion of under 25's are in continuing education.

Those in full time education are not considered active in the workforce, and so not counted in the unemployment figures.

The EU wishes to change this as it is very aware that it's high youth unemployment rates expose it's so-called 'socialist' credentials as being a sham. Business always comes before people in the EU.

Unlike Caroline Flint who said that given a choice between Revoking Article 50 and no deal she would prefer a no deal exit.

It really is time that she and others like John Mann and Kate Hoey either joined the Brexit Party or the Conservatives where they would feel much more at home.
