hackey lad
No, the vote that has determined all future British history has already taken place. And it was clear that a vote for leave clearly meant Nick Clegg would be excluded from a knighthood. I did my research Another one you got wrong
ANGELFIRE1
Official then, Sir Nick Clegg, destroyer of the LibDems, and his famous song. You just could not make it up. And the "establishment" wonder why the surfs are so cynical of the system. Angel1.

I1L2T3
How is that?. Angel1. Arch-Europhile and remainer-in-chief Clegg gets knighted while Farage weeps into a pint of warm bitter. Good stuff.
choogling
Maybe it would serve in the public interest to be transparent and list the people who have nominated someone for an honour and in this case who nominated Clegg. i think you would find all the clegg voters all came from a lunatic asylum and the crosses were made in crayon. ukdobby
The honours are a joke, hurray for the guys and gals who have refused them. Most are paid very well for doing their job.
Marx
Anyone seen Dennis Skinner's thoughts on the subject? Made me smile. I deplore anyone who accepts a 'reward' from the Establishment.

El Cid
Just as an aside, how could Clegg be Knighted for his "work" in the coalition without giving Cameron a gong, it does not add up. Angel1. Cameron was doing everything for himself and his party; whilst Clegg took a gamble that gave the country the stability that it needed. He would have known the risks for the smaller party getting blamed for all the downs, whilst Cameron took the credit, getting 24 more MPs after the 2015 general election. It was going well, compared to the shambles we have now.
