AdamSmith
I bet you were wearing a ra ra skirt and and waving your pom poms when this next line of cuts were announced today? no Stan wouldn't "waste " the money! the cuts are needed to stave off the leech like drain of this countries resources, the days of the easy ticket has gone, councils need to get real with spending, help for this that and any other cause or hard luck story from abroad is all well and good in the lush times unfortunately those times haven't been around for a good while so now we have to cut our cloth accordingly. d71146
well hopefully the cuts will make the councils think more carefully about spending their budget on non essentials, minority interests and white elephants:roll: then maybe the books will balance One would think so but it won't Labour will carry on with their policies come hell or high water. Just my view.

Blue Day
The funding for improving the roads was European money so i'm pretty sure that won't be affected.
