Delayed
Doesn’t matter let them have what they want. Brexiters have cooked their dinner now let them eat it. Then let them coming running back to the people who pay the taxes, have the brains, the youth and a work ethic to put it all back together again. That won’t be pulling together that will be fixing up the mess. Again with the sweeping generalisations. Where's the evidence to support your claim that leavers don't pay taxes, are too stupid, too old and have no work ethic?

Mister Gee
Well , vote for another party when you get the chance I don't need a chance, I've never nor will ever vote Tory. This government will go down as the most corrupt and incompetent bunch of charlatans we're ever seen and no doubt people like you will still support them? altus
The Republic of Ireland will suffer if there is no free trade deal between the EU and the UK. Most of the food produced by Irish farmers goes via UK roads and through UK ports on the journey to the EU. The journey times will increase considerably and their own ports will need massive investment, if a free trade deal is not agreed. That doesn't mean they will insist on a free trade deal at the cost of undermining the single market - any more than the German car industry which whilst wanting a free trade deal doesn't want it at the expense of the single market. apelike
Governments haven't saved/invested part of the National Insurance that people have been paying to fund their state pensions - hence unfunded. They have to be paid for from current taxes. No they don't, as far as I'm aware pensions are still funded from the NI contributions pot which is still in the black and will be for a while yet. The projection however is that the NI pot may run dry sometime around 2030-35 maybe sooner.
