Its the labour party for me.

Typical Labour , penalise the wealthy . Just why do Labour hate anyone who is successful ?

is it not better to tax those who can afford it than to push into poverty those who cannot?

I don't think labour hates anyone who is successful, "hatred" is reserved for those who take more than their fair share. The difference between rich and poor is now too great. The rich are starting to strangle the poor and so there needs to be some restrictions put in place. The tories are the rich and entitled and have a stranglehold over this country. Why people support them is genuinely beyond me. they do not represent freedom. They do not allow people to do what they like and ensure we all get wealthy. They only ensure that they themselves become more powerful and wealthy. Jeremy Corbyn, despite his flaws is a refreshing change from the megalomaniacs that we usually have in power.

No. The manifesto threshold is in relation to income. £80,000 of income, not money in your account (as I've explained before).

I think you're getting a little bogged down in the detail there...

So apparently Labour claim they shouldn't waste money they don't have by reversing the benefit cap freeze, as it is unaffordable.

They have however pledged to nationalise UK's water industry at unknown cost (running into tens of billions). This is despite UK water industries having very high and improving satisfaction rate, and despite £130 billion having been invested by private companies in England and Wales since privatisation in 1989.

Why is nationalising water a greater priority that reversing the benefit cap freeze?

Apparently it only matters if you're Corbyn?

That is the case for many things.

The Labour manifesto defines anyone who earns over £80,000 as wealthy...

Does it? What page is that on?

Wealthy or not, Jeremy Corbyn was one of the few MPs that did not fiddle his expenses, unlike most other MPs. There's nothing worse than greedy rich people (and Cameron is the true definition of rich) who are never rich enough and resort to theft to to make themselves even richer.

Nobody actually knows what he does with his opposition leader salary. He could be giving it away, donating big chunks of it, for all we know.

He's certainly not blowing it on an expensive stylist or tailor.

Its this sort of thing that is absolutely wrong: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/may/13/millionaire-brexit-donor-targets-remain-mps

Its completely undemocratic that a billionaire should be able bolster the campaigns of a party.
