RosyRat
I also Wonder how Many of our beloved councillors will be there with Julie and co ? Champagne socialists any excuse for a party ! Even death says a lot Are you going to admit just how wrong you were? What party? Which councillors attended? What a a brave little warrior you are to hide behind your keyboard and fling out accusations. Council business carried on as normal and no councillors protested in the streets, did they? How disappointing for you.

How disappointing for you. Of course he isn't. Same as those who suggested earlier that the protesters (the majority of whom have been dignified) were akin to terrorists wont. Happ Hazzard
I enjoyed the funeral, it was well worth £10 million for all the publicity it would have got all round the world.
I1L2T3
Without wanting to get into an argument the derogatory comments about Goldthorpe on this thread are reflective of the general poor attitude to these communities from many. Wondering how talking communities down like that makes them feel like they've got the moral high ground.

Stan Tamudo
Does anybody know how many people turned up in London for the funeral today? Going on what I've just seen on the news and what I've heard on the radio I reckon around 35 million.

I1L2T3
Poor show from Goldthorpe. Not a proud Yorkshireman tonight It was unfortunate. How many people attended the effigy burning? Was it the whole population of Goldthorpe?

Glad you did, just as those in Goldthorpe enjoyed theirs, she destroyed that village took away it's livelihood. Does it not tell you something that almost 30 years later was still as hated as she was then. Before all you tin pot Tories start slagging the miners try a few shifts underground, you'd not last a bloody minute. It's so satisfying to see this country going to the dogs, but prepared to spend 10m on some senile old bint, who no longer knew what day it was.
