Just a warning...Ecclesfield road starting to flood in a couple of places and a lot of surface water all the way along...

Some regularly flooded dips in road surface:

- Ecclesall Road South, opposite new flats at junction with Dunkeld Road

- Hunters Bar roundabout, near Junction Road exit

- Whirlowdale Road, near junction with Dobcroft Road

Flood Warning:

Blackburn Brook and Charlton Brook from Chapeltown to North Ecclesfield

14:14 on 06 Jul 2012

 

Location: Ecclesfield including Loicher Bridge and the works on Station Road. Chapeltown including Nether Lane, Cowley Lane, Falding Street, Station Road, Thornbrook Gardens, Cart Road, Bridge Inn Road and Newton Chambers Road.

Just come back from meadowhell. Roundabout near Arena is bad. Was up to half way on wheels of car. Also opposite macdonalds on Broughton lane is quite bad if ur travelling towards arena. Think it's Broughton lane. Same road B&Q darnell xxx

The amount of rain lately is definite evidence of at least abnormal activity.

Stay clear of wooly wood bottom, deep water and road has lifted.

Anyone know if there is flooding near Northern General, my son has had an accident at work and is currently being treated there, he will need a lift back and i need to know if its bad or not.
