Vaati   11 #50 Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) whats oughtibridge looking like? hope its not going to flood again  Lot of surface water, not been home too long after coming home on the bus. Don't think it's gonna flood from the river (though is getting high) Edited July 6, 2012 by Groose
 Share this content via...
NorthernStar   11 #51 Posted July 6, 2012 Looks like we're just coming out of the thick band of cloud now, might even get a bit of sunshine soon.  No doubt the surface water will continue to make it's way to the water courses for a while though, so fingers crossed.  http://www.raintoday.co.uk/
 Share this content via...

andygardener   10 #57 Posted July 6, 2012 G I've put together a web cam of the sheaf outside my office.  http://www.artumi.com/river/  If you want to look see.  Ouch, that does not look far off bursting. I'm at greystones and the rain keeps easing then opening back up again and there is a hell of a lot of surface water heading down to the Porter
 Share this content via...
*RTC* Â Â 10 #58 Posted July 6, 2012 im due to go to meadowhall after school run should i brave it or not ? Â Traffics busy in the area due to the standing water but I crossed the river on Meadowhall Way and it was swollen but looked to be coping ok at the moment. The road under the railway bridge on Upwell Street is flooded but it always seems to there due to poor drainage.
 Share this content via...

It's about 2 ft below the concrete barrier on which the railing is standing.
 Share this content via...
