  3. Mmm..for the 'older' woman it has to be Louise Appleton (Emily Symons) in Emmerdale and for the 'younger' woman it has to be Emmerdale again with the girl who plays Jasmine (looks like pocahontas!)
  4. Ooh right then! erm..yeah Tony Blackburn won first one then i think it was Phil Tufnell then Kerry Mcfaded (Katona), Carol Thatcher, Joe Pasquale and Matt Willis. I've probably forgot someone but it's not a bad start. I enjoyed the Phil Tufnell one best..Happy Dayz!!!
  5. Hey Shiesh! I agree with you! Although i have recently took my missus to see a Spandau tribute band called Highly Strung and in all fairness they were absolutely fantastic! Their lead singer (Lee James i think his name is?) looks/sounds just like Hadley! Great live sax too!

  8. Bloody hell!!!!! It's a bit before my time this pic but i do recognise Alan Staniforth and Barry Walker if i'm not mistaken? I remember you too (i think?) did your daughter used to do a bit of scoring aswell? I got asked to come along with my mate Paul Bullas. We ended up playing for most of the pubs on the cliffe including quite a few years for the Carbrook Hall along with Pete Taylor, Danny Gilliver, Joe Brookes, Doggie John, and i believe you yourself played for them a while? Memories!
  9. Anyone on here who used to play in the Wards league? I played a few years (started mid 80's) for the Commercial on Weedon Street when Reg Williams (R.I.P) had it. There were some really good players around then and as a young lad in the league there was no better baptism of fire!
  10. Ah! Good call Tarquin! Mick Karn of Japan fame and his fretless bass!
  11. Just read this thread and i'm amazed (unless i've missed it?) that nobody has mentioned the amazing Victor Wooton!!!

  16. Just read on teletext that her concert last night was in their words "Shambolic!" Apparantly the crowd were booing and hurling insults at her. She also said to those that were booing etc "Wait til my husband gets out of prison, you'll be in trouble then!" WTF!!!
  17. You're spot Pinnacle! My daughter's 10 and she loves same difference! She says they remind her of that High school musical crap! (well, she didn't say crap...i did:D).

  20. If you had read it right it says "league wise there's nothing in it". I never mentioned money to which United are far better off financially. I was just talking in a footballing sense. And that remains the same after todays great wins!
