  1. And wasnt Chilli Chicken on "Life of Grime" a few years ago?
  2. I know quite a few people who use the cycle shop. Its really good for bike repairs as the guy doesnt charge as much as say JE james or decathlon. A friend recently had a full service including unseizing of brakes and new chain (fitted). It cost under £20.
  3. Hi. I have a lovely dressing gown from primark. Its very soft and fluffy to the touch, inside and out. There seems to be lots of nice nightwear and slippers made from it at the moment. Heres the problem. I know its made from polyester, but I dont know what the style of fabric is called. Can anyone help me as I would like to buy some to make some luxurious bedding! Thanks in advance.
  4. Your fella probably sets the scene with porn for himself then gets on to thinking about you. If youre having it off 3 times a week then it cant be a bad thing can it? Remember it doesnt matter where he gets the matches, as long as hes lighting YOUR fire with em.
  5. I am registered with TPS. I still get the 'Cruise' call, and another was someone cold calling. When i asked how they got the number they told me they have a random number generator.
  6. I did the voucher thing for my husband one year, but erm... ruder!
  7. Hi anna, the cost is roughly the same for 4 tablets. They just dont seem to be availible at less than £6.40 a pack of 4. I think its scandalous.
  8. Hi Gemima. I have done that already. Even online the cheapest is around that price. It costs about £9 from the vet. £7 on the internet. Its ridiculous. On vets advice I tried to take him down to half a tablet a day but its not enough and hes not holding his stomach. So its back on to full ones. Its the only way to stop him feeling/being sick. Bearing in mind that if he feels sick he wont eat, wont eat, cant get his other tablet down him and struggle with the anti sickness ones too. I didnt know that they might start charging for prescriptions too soon. This is so worrying. @Nikita, Petmeds are roughly the same price, Thanks anyway.
  9. My little dogs kidneys have started to fail, and a side effect of that is vomiting. The tablets for his kidneys arent that expensive, just pence each. Thats not much of a problem. What I am really shocked with though is the price of the anti sickness pills I have to give him to stop him throwing up everywhere. Once a day tablets (cerenia) cost £7 for 4 of them, so thats nearly £14 a week. About £50 a month. I am not on high wages and Im finding it quite difficult to afford. Does anyone else feel guilty about worrying about costs when it comes to your pets? I love my dog to pieces and want him to be around for as long as possible. I cant have him put to sleep, hes still got lots of spark in him and it wouldnt feel right to do that until hes showing signs of being unhappy with his condition. Do these sorts of tablets have to cost so much or is it a ploy by the companies to make money out of peoples love for their pets? I have already had to take a big chunk out of my only savings to pay for medicine, and sadly when the time comes for him to "go to sleep" thats going to cost too. Im sorry for going on, its all just really upsetting me. How does everyone else cope?
  10. Dont go to Halfords on queens road. Some of the staff there dont do the repairs properly. My husband has had his bike repaired there, it was also bought from there originally. They didnt do it properly, it broke again 2 days later and they refused to refund him claiming it was 'wear and tear'. After 2 days.
  11. Im 30, my husband is 23. We have been married 4 months.
  12. Go to a mcdonalds and ask if you can take some from the cardboard bins. Fry boxes are roomy and can withstand alot of weight.
  13. Only place that i have ever caught them is at rother valley. Many moons ago.
  14. http://www.ukcider.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Perry There is apparently a difference in the making process....
  15. I went to Hucklow. Mr Garrett was headteacher and he brought in eggs and an incubator, and hatched out some chickens for us to learn about. He also brought in a dead fox that had been hit by a car. (it wasnt bloody or anything) No one had ever seen one before and it was looked at with fascination by most. You probably wouldnt get away with it now but he lived on a farm in the countryside and wanted to show us that side of things. Teachers i liked; Mr Mcfarlane, Ms Mcgeachie, Miss Long, I think it was because we did lots of art and crafts in those classes! Also there was another male teacher whos name escapes me. All I remember is that he was tall with ginger hair and a bit of a beard. He had a twin brother who worked as a teacher at another school and when one lad moved to that school he thoght it was the same person! He was really funny and kind and everyone wanted to be in his class.
  16. :)I just cycled home in it. Shorts and t-shirt on. it was very refreshing after the heat of the past week.
  17. We have blackout curtains. Ours are white with beige patterns on them. I think they are made of rubberised cotton. They are really good. Unfortunately our curtains were open all day yesterday as we were having a major tidy up. So it was boiling hot all night.
  18. Go to a Mcdonalds and ask if you can take some fry boxes from their recycling bins. They dont mind at all. Great boxes for moving, very strong.
  19. Last week I was cycling on the road that leads from the train station and goes past the funeral directors. A funeral car pulled out on me, as the driver of it obviously thought the correct way to pull out of a junction was to be chatting to and facing his colleague in the passenger seat. It was only his colleague shouting at him to watch where he was going that saved me from being seriously hurt. He literally stopped an inch from me. Unfortunately this sort of thing is all too common. I do not feel safe at all cycling on the roads in sheffield.
  20. I saw one in McDonalds car park on Queens rd and midday today. I did wonder what it was.
  21. I met my other half at a friends house before a night out. I liked the look of him, he seemed to be giving me more than a passing glance, I thought no more about it, went out got drunk and lost everyone. Was just about to leave when I saw him. We had a drink or 2 and a smooch, went back to our mates house where I passed out on one end of the sofa bed and he passed out on the other. He has no recollection of any of those parts of the night, and I thank my lucky stars that I woke up when he got up to lay stretched out on the floor. I offered half the sofa bed, as its supposed to be used, to him, and gave him a cuddle to sleep. We woke in the morning and watched a film and the rest is history! Got married in May, things are sweeeeet.
  22. Im a size 16 and I train at the gym 3 times a week and cycle everyday. I would say Im healthy for that. I wont get any thinner than I am now because muscle takes up room, Im never going to have super skinny thighs but ill sacrifice that for being strong and fit.
  23. They sell Hendersons crisps in Zoobys (spelling?) in the winter gardens too.
