  1. I have a chihuahua, he has a habit of being in the way and is very stubborn. He would rather be nearly squashed than give in and move. Also he will lay on things like mobile phones in the vain hope that my husband will try to take it from under him so he can try and bite him. He can move like the wind when theres the sound of a packet opening though.

  3. I think we were typing at the same time! I like your facts!
  4. If alcohol thins the blood, then surely a light trauma that pops the capillaries is gonna cause more bruising than it normally would as the blood can flow more freely to the surface of your skin?
  5. I find that im more inclined to climb/swing on things on the way home from the pub. And the reduction in balance while out usually leads to knocking into chairs or doorways. Strangely enough I got stung by a wasp while drunk last week, I saw it land on me and everything. 20 minutes after there wasnt even a mark on me. Wasp-0, Me and beer-1
  6. I like to take photos of people enjoying themselves, nights out etc. I love capturing a moment.
  7. Q tattoo, is that the one on Orchard square. I have made enquiries there a couple of times, first time he was a bit rude to me but i gave him the benefit of the doubt and enquired a second time. I really wanted some advice about the best placing and styling for a particular design but i was made to feel that it was all too much trouble for him to discuss with it with me and really wasnt helpul at all. I wouldnt recommend anyone to have their first tattoo there as i have had several before visting him, and even I felt uneasy. I declined to have any work done by him.
  8. I agree with Captain Scarlets post. Reverting to insults usually means you have lost the argument. Well done you.
  9. Harsh. I will keep an eye out also. You should put a list of whats been nicked up. I feel for you, never good losing vinyl. Good luck.
  10. Yeees!!! thank you very much. I ca show them to him now.
  11. I was wondering if anyone saw in the mirror newspaper a couple of days ago, some photos of pigeons taken with a camera hidden in a takeaway box where they were scrounging? If anyone could link me to it if its online somewhere that would be great. I have searched the papers website to no avail. Or.....If anyone has the day before yesterdays paper and would be kind enough to have a look through it and tell me the name of the photographer It would make me very happy. Which is a great thing after getting soaked by the rain on my way home. I have been telling my husband about the photos and now i cant find em. Wish Id have stolen the paper from the work staff room now lol! Hope someone can help xx
  12. Becks37, Pink cherry blossom would look lovely with brown. http://www.theflowerexpert.com/media/images/mostpopularflowers/morepopularflowers/cherryblossom/cherry-blossom.jpg Best thing is that it grows in abundance on trees round sheffield during springtime. Technically you could harvest it yourself and with a little creativity make posys from it. I got Married May 08. On the couple of weeks before when the wind blew on my street it looked like confetti swirling about! Hope you get what you need x
  13. Here s a pic I took at the weekend. I was lucky to catch it as i did and Im quite pleased with it. My little dog rolling around in the daisies.
  14. Thanks. I hadnt managed to find a site that wasnt too technical in its explanation. Im quite new at this and this site is easy to understand.
  15. Hi. Im thinking about getting a lens hood for my camera. I have been told they reduce glare and give the end of your lens a little more protection, plus will stop your lens getting wet when in light rain. Whats the difference between the normal circular ones and the petal shaped ones? What does the petal shaped one do? Thanks xx:)
  16. Thanks. What a good tool to have. Im starting to enjoy the benefits of photoshop now.
  17. Lol! Here it is. Not amazing but its me first time! Thanks guys.
  18. Something like thanks. I have nearly done it now. I have even sorted the eyes out a bit. Will post it shortly.
  19. Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me instructions how to remove all the clutter in this photo? I want to keep the mug and dog. Im going to make it into black and white also. My dog was sneakily drinking my tea and I managed to get a photo just as he looked up. Obviously i didnt have time to move the phone etc! If anyone could help it would be a good learning experience for me. I have PS elements 6. Thanks x Ooh also I am wondering how to remove his "pet eye".
  20. Sorry what does a Triad member look like Bago. I think you might be generalising here. And could it not be possible that there was a better candidate for the job? Do you honestly think that she would have got the job had her hair been natural? Do you know for a fact that every other candidate for that job was less suitable for the position? Anyway, I think that in school dress codes should be implemented at the beginning of term. Its fair to allow a little notice for any change. Especially with more expensive items such as shoes and coats. I dont agree with any teacher removing make up off girls though, that is taking things too far. And if such rules are to be implemented then it should be lead by example all the way. If clothing or hair or jewellery wearing reflects badly on the schools image, then the teachers should be mindful of that too.
  21. On a similar note, a lady at work was telling me that her son had his pure orange juice taken off him by a dinner lady when he brought it with his lunch. Even though it was the same brand of juice that the school actually sells to its pupils at breaktimes. Wheres the common sense? If any drink except water is banned on healthy eating grounds then so should all unhealthy snacks. Juice is a portion of your 5 a day. It seems crazy that crisps and chocolate bars can stay while juice cannot.
