  1. Its hard for little ones to say some words right straight away. I have a cousin his name is Dylan. His little sis couldnt say his name for ages, so resorted to calling him Digger.
  2. Theres a few nights in sheffield that go on till 5 or 6. They were probably at one of those.
  3. Hi I have the d40x, same as the d40 but 10 megapixels instead of 6.something. Im just starting out too and im finding it very user friendly. From what I have looked into for add ons it seems to be pretty good. Id recommend it. That or the d60. Have fun choosing one!
  4. Apparently a friend of mine was in a nightclub when he saw me in my usual style of going out clothes. He wandered down the corridor and playfully nipped my bum. Only it wasnt me. And she slapped him. Other people have seen her too and apparently the resembelence is uncanny.
  5. Yeah i think there is a bug going round. Had a similar illness that was getting a bit better then got worse. Turned out to be a sinus infection, im on antibiotics now. Get to the docs.
  6. Also you can rub in the contents of a vitamin e oil capsule, which will help a little.
  7. Hi, a friend of mine used something on a bad scar. Think it was called shark-oil or something lke that. Quite expensive but took the very nasty scar down to a flat light coloured one. Think it was recommended to him by a nurse when he had physio for the injury. Very good, you can hardly see it now.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA5uYhXpa-E This is interesting.
  9. Two of my bridemaids went there on the big day, the stylist was really abrupt with them and neither got what they asked for. I wouldnt recommend on that basis but this was nearly a year ago so perhaps the man with the attitude doesnt work there now.
  10. Course they do. On honeymoon last year we had a tour guide that took us round one of the national parks. We had a chat about the high house prices and how the cost of bread had doubled. This was in Croatia.
  11. I get followed when im wearing my cycling to work and back scruffys. Love popping in to shops in my faded jacket and muddy rucksack. Especially when i have been up since 430 am and have the dark circles round my eyes to prove it. The funniest time was when a security guard in a music shop took a keen interest in my browsing. Which caused him to miss the bloke who legged it out of the shop with a stack of blank cds.
  12. On a similar note, I think it would have been last wednesday, my friend who works in Endciffe Park Cafe told me that a group of youths smashed up loads of chairs outside the cafe.
  13. See if there are any belly dancing classes, you can do that without a partner and its lots of fun. Very good for toning yourself up too.
  14. I have had this. I initially thought it was wax, if i tipped my head upside down it would clear. IEar drops and some tablets helped it clear up in no time.
  15. Ha! I like it too. I like wierd little things like that.
  16. Meh. You can laugh or cry. Nothing broken so may as well laugh!
  17. @strix. No the passageway only serves my mates flat, and no one came in or out while we were there. The bikes werent obstructing any right of way either, its quite a wide passageway.
  18. No I dont think its anyone i know. I only know one person who lives in that area, and i was sat with them indoors. I was thinking it might be some prankster who spotted us locking them up. was wondering if anyone else had been pranked. Nothings damaged, and had we had an alun key or a multi tool we could have sorted it out there and then. it hasnt been much of a hassle.
  19. Hey, go to photobox.co.uk. they are cheap. or go to kodakgallery they have an offer on,.
  20. ^^^^hi komal, its kel! Both mine and woodys got the treatment lol!
  21. Yesterday afternoon, around 5pm, my husband and I popped for a cuppa at a mates flat on Eccy road. We werent there for more than half an hour, and we left our bicycles chained up in his passageway. On returning to our bikes we found that someone had used an alun key to loosen the steering, turn it right round so the handlebars and front wheel were facing the wrong way. Then they disconnected the brakes and reattached them so the cables were in the correct position. (so turning the wheel and bars round would twist the cable up alot.) Obviously we couldnt ride them again, but we had to go to tesco and we managed with em as shopping bag carriers. Was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Nothing else was damaged. Aside from the small inconvenience of having to walk to work this morning (too dark to fix it last night) I found it to be quite amusing. Mischief runs amok on Eccy rd.
  22. More to the point, why should we have to pay extortionate fares to companies who are paid to have such advertising on their property. Sorry that was a bit off topic and ranty.
  23. A kind man picks up a young girl/woman on a long quiet stretch of road, she has flagged him down for whatever reason. Drops her on her street then the next day finds the girls handbag/purse in his car. Takes the item to her address to be told by her sad mum that she died on that stretch of road months earlier. Have heard so many versions of this story. In fact theres a video on the net, where a load of guys pick up a young girl hitchhiker (GHOST CAUGHT ON TAPE CAUSES CAR ACCIDENT) The camera goes a bit fuzzy a couple of times, she says something along the lines of "this is where my car crashed an i died" An then the car appears to crash and roll over.
  24. Slightly off original subject, but my first job was at the co-op on nethershire lane, 13 years ago now mind. It was the worst place i have ever had the misfortune to work in. It used to close for an hour at lunch time, and if i needed to pop out at all during that time, the "agreement" was, "if you have to go out, dont bother coming back while 1 because im not going to come(from the back room)to let you in." Was such a special day for me when full of cold in the middle of winter i popped out to get some medicine from my nan, who kindly brought it to work for me. Even though i told one of the other staff i was popping outside and straight back in, they kindly locked the door and left me shivering for 45 minutes outside. I was so happy when i sprained my ankle in the snow about a week later. I never went back.
