  1. I would agree, Game and occasionally Gamestation if you have something to trade in. I have found that controllers can stop working within the warranty period and Game will honour the guarantee and swap out. Its not that easy when you buy online.
  2. ahh that would explain the number of police cars coming towards me on the way back from S5
  3. I changed from a gp who did this for all appointments to one that does not. It just did not suit me personally. If you work in an open plan office and cant really take personal calls, you need to book to see a doctor. If you are out and about and cant necessarily get a mobile signal, then you need to book an appointment If of course you can be at home or day then its probably fine.
  4. NHS Choices http://www.nhs.uk/Scorecard/Pages/Results.aspx?OrgType=1&Coords=3976%2c4337&TreatmentID=0&PageNumber=1&PageSize=0&TabId=0&SortType=1&LookupType=1&LocationType=1&SearchTerm=S35+4NF&DistanceFrom=5&SortByMetric=0&TrustCode=&TrustName=&DisambiguatedSearchTerm=&LookupTypeWasSwitched=False&MatchedOrganisationPostcode=&MatchedOrganisationCoords=&ServiceIDs=&ScorecardTypeCode=&NoneEnglishCountry=&HasMultipleNames=False&OriginalLookupType=1&ServiceLaunchFrom=&Filters=&TopLevelFilters=
  5. There is a shop by Devonshire Green near Rare and Racey sorry no idea what its called. I bought some second hand rings from the jewellers on Campo Lane but its not open weekends and I've not been there in the day time recently.
  6. depends what you call tea time, roads free after 6.30pm
  7. According to the First advert they employ really happy people and the adverts on Stagecoach makes all the passengers sound content.
  8. Absolutely not. I dont live there but I think side streets should be navigated between 20 - 30 miles an hour.
  9. I think if you get the opportunity to visit, you just get a feeling on which one is right. Go with you instinct.
  10. The signs our out but not always obvious (when its raining you dont always stop to read ) - that most parking regulations are suspended in parking bays in town and surrounding roads today. It started from 6.30pm 8th October and from what I could see the parking wardens were in a ticketing frenzy last night. I think is for a BUPA run.
  11. its not just students. There are so many people who can't seem to walk and use a mobile phone at the same time and just step into roads with out looking. Granted this is mainly students.
  12. Atkinsons has this behind the escalators
  13. The shepley spitfire has a pool table - Mickley Lane Totley. However I had a half of the Moonshire which was stale so i guess its more of a lager pub. Had a lot of wide screen tv - including one set up as a fish tank so it was a bit surreal. I was looking for a pub which sold real ale and had a mobile phone signal.
  14. I know there are some at Meadowhall Interchange
  15. oh but you could try http://www.saynoto0870.com/
  16. WMC is fine if you either dont work, or can take personal phone calls at work but no appointments are pre bookable - you need to telephone triage. Nice if you work in an open plan office.
  17. was it a job related to your degree ... did you need to get a degree to do it? That's the frustration for some.
  18. Its a funny junction that. I was cut up badly on it, so the next time I lagged behind a white van to watch how they drove around it. He completely side swipped an astra. I was not convinced he would stop but I think he realised I was a witness so did eventually. I stopped and gave my details.
  19. Yorkshire sculpture park nr Wakefield. You pay a reasonable amount for parking no admission fee.
  20. I would ask in the central library, its the sort of question that librarians love to answer
  21. No idea really what a christening bracelet (guess is small) is but Point 925 do n't manufacture but they do have a website. There is a shop on abbey lane (woodseats) run by the craft silversmiths from chesterfield college. So they might. There was a silversmith at ridgeway craft place last time I went about a year or so ago. http://www.point925jewellery.co.uk/
  22. no, the gigs have all been moved to plug / greystones. It is missed but I dont think it will return. I wonder what happened to the artic monkey drum kit
  23. I think a little bit of homework is a good thing. It gets the child ready to deal with school work and importantly it should also get the parents prepared to support the child through school. My kids had a small amount of homework from an early age and certainly achieved at school. I think play is important but its all about balance and a supportive environment
