I loved the Chicken Supreme it was even better than the Vesta one.
 Share this content via...
Hadron   10 #27 Posted October 23, 2019 I made a curry with 4 boxes on a camping trip in Derbyshire one November but I only had one pot on an open fire. I can't remember how I got round the sauce making. It was freezing outside by the time it was ready so it all went. Good stuff. Dardandec   32 #28 Posted October 23, 2019 I used to love chow main with crispy noodles, not had it for years but that dehydrated meal was the future.
 Share this content via...
Person6   10 #29 Posted October 24, 2019 https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/vesta-curry-and-rice-with-beef#  Poundstretcher were selling Vesta meals for £1.99 recently but not in every branch. I've also seen some in Tesco and Sainsbury's.
 Share this content via...
davyboy   20 #30 Posted October 24, 2019 (edited) Vesta chow mein and Vesta beef curry were the height of sophistication for us when my wife and I came home from work in 1962/3. Our first meal out (in 1960) when we got engaged was pork chinese  style. Lord did I feel ill with those strange spices! How things have changed. My g/daughter and a friend have just splashed out £80 for their lunch.  Edited October 24, 2019 by davyboy
 Share this content via...
