Local Charity Shop Told They're 'Not Welcome' In Rude Letter

Recommended Posts

Kreate is a fairly new shop on Bocking Lane selling homewares, Sheffield-made merch and other bits as part of Work.Inc charity (the same people who run the Hidden Gem cafe).

Over the weekend they received a letter in the post:

Here’s what they had to say about it: “Happy Saturday to us. It’s just a shame people don’t do their research properly. Thank you to the kind person that took the time to write this and send it 2nd class

Yep, someone took the time to write and post the letter. ☹️

Whoever did that is either (a) a sick individual and/or (b) a tad short of brain cells.

Or a coward, why no name & address?

That too, but typical of a deluded individual - to put it politely. I  was going to call them something else, but might have got banned for it - after all, you aren't allowed to call an idiot an idiot these days.

If it is from a genuine Neighbourhood Watch (as opposed to some sad person acting summarily), won't their details be known by the authorities?

The individual who wrote that note hasn't got the brains to run a Neighbourhood Watch - they are illiterate.
