  1. I'm a keen angler and not much surprises me but you've got to be having us on,although I've caught chub on steak.
  2. Ebay as annouunced that,as of today, any auction style listing starting at 99p or under will be free. They describe this as good news.Unfortunately,it's probably only good news if you don't sell the item as final value fees are going up to a flat 10%.Until today a private seller paid 8.25% up to £29.99 and then 5.25% of the value of the item above this.If your selling stuff for under a quid the new system will work for you,but if your selling anything for a half decent price your going to be cleaned out by Ebay. It's galling when you log on to ebay.com and see how much US sellers pay for final value fees.I make very little money selling on ebay, but dislike being fleeced.
  3. We stayed in one of the apartments below in Ibiza in 2005 and really enjoyed it.Great sea views and a five minute walk into Ibiza town. The apartments are a bit rustic, but the views over to Formentera in the evening are worth the stay alone. We booked to go back in 2006 but had to cancel due to my partners pregnancy.Ibiza is not the place to go if you need to abstain from a bit of hedonism. http://www.apartamentosrosello.com/index.htm
  4. I Agree AG,could'nt believe how poorly Real Madrid played last night. The world cup winning captain and world player of the year in 2006, Cannavaro looked a shadow of his former self. Ramos took him off to save him from further embarrassment.
  5. Don't try to be polite Mr B,if the blades would have won that game and Bassett had done the same I would'nt have expected a rendition of, oh for he's a jelly good fellow, from the east bank.
  6. I remember standing in the cheese slice,I also remember big Ron going over to your kop after the final whistle to give you a round of applause,he then turned around and started walking towards the Leppings lane end to applaud the Blades fans but did'nt get as far as the half way line due to the friendly verbals he was getting.
  7. Some people may think the protester should be in custardy at this moment in time, although it was a trifling incident in my opinion.
  8. What have the last two posts got to do with whether or not the butchers shop as closed.
  9. Is this correct? It always seemed to be doing well with people queuing out on the street at weekends.I used to pop in now and again for one of their hot roast pork sandwiches.
  10. Thanks for that Corker,I flicked over to SS2 about 5 minutes ago and got a right shock.Thought I'd come on the forum and ask why they are wearing pink but you got there first.
  11. I was thinking along the same lines,it's a shame because the old ground Feethams was perfect for a club that size.In the football grounds of Great Britain Simon Inglis described "the ground and it's environs are unashamedly charming and belong to a middle-class Edwardian world". So they moved to a new stadium on the edge of town with a large capacity whilst the majority of football fans in Darlington have always had allegiances to one of the big three north east clubs.Sheer madness.
  12. Whenever I see some entrepreneur or big business person on TV these days I run for the sick bucket.I've just been reading another thread about how we should vote at the next election, and in my view it don't matter who you vote for because the three party's all support the people who make me run for the sick bucket.
  13. .........................................................
  14. I've never had any problems with my old Roberts r9903 three band portable radio.I bought it about ten years ago and it's had a swim in the river Trent when I was out fishing and our bath, courtesy of me being pi**ed up.Not bad for £18.99.
  15. I agree Corker,I'm a Blade and I don't make that many post's but viewing over the last week I've noticed a few new un's.I don't dish it so therefore don't get the kickback.
  16. I recommended the site below to someone the other day. It's free to join and offers great advice on all of your queries.Sign up and get on to the discussion board. http://www.menshealth.co.uk
  17. I've never come across plywood thinner than 3mm,I'm interested to know what your using it for as well.
  18. Have a look on the mens health website,it's free and you'll get some sound advice. http://www.menshealth.co.uk
  19. Bloody hell,I'll bet you need to call out Dyna-rod the next day to clean out your intestines.
  20. They certainly had an effect on me when I was young, particularly the grim reaper don't play near water film.I don't think you could do it now because you'd be accused of being part of the nanny state.I can just imagine some columnist in the Daily Mail saying"well the children of the working classes need to have the CHOICE whether they want to play on an iced over pond or next to a slurry pit,it's up to the individual".Sorry I sound so bitter and twisted but those films served a purpose in my opinion.
  21. I saw a bloke in Seville attempting to park in a space between two other cars that must have been no bigger than 5ft.After a couple of failed attempts he got out of his car and kicked one of the cars he was trying to get in between a few times whilst shouting bad language in spanish.I just wish that I'd have caught it on my mobile or camera.
  22. We often go to Chesterfield in the summer. You can always get parked in the multi storey next to the bus station, from there you're straight into the small shopping centre and then we do a loop down to Vicar lane and up to the High street. After looking around the shops and market we go across to Queens park which is great for our young daughter, nice playground, boating lake that has a small train running around it in the summer and a nice cafe. It's even better if Derbyshire are playing cricket when there's a lovely atmosphere.Yes we like Chesterfield. I'm interested to find out what people think of Doncaster,we went last summer and left after about 45 minutes.I've never seen so many poorly looking folk in one place and I thought that there was a mobility scooter rally on the day we visited.
