iansheff
Just reading that there are plans to build almost 300 houses at the old Norton aerodrome. There are certain conditions to be met including carrying out a detailed assessment of the extent of land contamination there and providing a ‘buffer’ of at least 15 metres to the neighbouring Local Wildlife Site. That’s my only regret, that there is nowhere similar to help your children and grandchildren to practice driving. Our family used it a lot. It was a useful addition to lessons and with lessons now costing around £30 an hour if you can find an instructor a similar facility would be handy. As for more housing,it is certainly needed
