Top Cats Hat   10 #2153 Posted August 19, 2018 I wonder what happened to "VIZ"?  The Viz poll says that 98.4% of its readers would support a no deal Brexit if they were given a million pounds, a holiday home in the Carribean, a gold watch, a year's subscription to Viz and a bacon sandwich!  FACT! Top Cats Hat   10 #2155 Posted August 19, 2018 You'll not find any proof in the left leaning guardian.  Credible journalistic organisations such as the left leaning Guardian, the Independant and C4 News and the right leaning Times, Telegraph and BBC, all tend to use established polling organisations such as YouGov, Gallup and MORI. Not only will they publish these polls but also the sample size, questions asked and very importantly, the margin of error.  The difference between those news organisations and the more tabloid end of the scale is that if a poll finding disagrees with their political leanings, they will still publish it and then discuss why the results are as they are. Top Cats Hat   10 #2157 Posted August 20, 2018 Here you go, http://www.deltapoll.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/SOS-website-post.pdf  They are claiming a margin of error of up to 4% age points so if that error was all in favour of Leave it would only put those in favour of Brexit at 51% which is still less than in 2016. Of course that error could equally favour Remain in which case the Brexit vote would be down to 43% which is a drop of nearly 10% from 2016.  So the only truly honest headline that can be taken from this poll is 'Brexit vote falls since 2016!'  Nice to see The Sun upholding journalistic standards of fairness and impartiality. Top Cats Hat   10 #2159 Posted August 20, 2018 So because you see a positive the poll is ok  No, what I'm saying is that even your Poundshop poll shows that less people support Brexit than did in 2016!
 Share this content via...
