Jared Omara MP ..

nikki-red

We understand that this is an emotive subject, and discussing the facts is totally fine.
Posting insults is not.
Jared is local to us, and could well be a member of the forum, we dont allow name calling and insults on other threads and they arent acceptable on this one either.

I am told that this 'next time' might be arriving for Sheffield Hallam much sooner than for the rest of the country; it seems that the present MP might decide to step down (via the Chiltern Hundreds) if more about any past misdeeds is revealed.

There's more to come?

Loads

For a start, if anyone is able to access the old L2SB Forum archives, where he saved his best misogynist and homophobic rants for, there was enough on there most weeks that would see gone within the hour.

I think he actually ran that board though, so it's unlikely he'll pop it back online to let the press rummage through his comments.

The National Archives keeps periodic snapshots of old internet that can be accessed I think. It could be worth tipping off Guido Fawkes anyway.

I've found it. The navigation isn't great, but the site is all saved:

Scurrilous allegations against this honourable, conscientious and hard-working public servant.

This is in no way a defence of this young man and his odious comments but it is funny how I'd feel he's almost certain to lose his job over them, yet the President of The United States seems to be able to keep his despite similarly offensive comments and 16 allegations of sexual abuse.

It's hard to see similarities between Omara and probably the most powerful man on the Planet, aka the Trump.

And that's why the UK is a much more civilised place than the US. Because we don't tolerate scumbags with such abhorrent views

Similar views - contempt for women, dislike of the LGBT community, hatred of ethics minorities. The only difference is that Trump hates brown people, while with Omara its Jewish people.

Can't get that to work sadly, which is a shame, as I remember the old L2SB days very well! :)

The second URL gives links to 6612 pages that you can view, but I can't find a way to navigate between them. It's just luck of the draw which page you open up

When I click any of them I just get a calendar? Random.

Are they searchable?

Which bands were you in Dan, out of interest? You and I probably know each other if you were around in the L2SB and Sheff Sounds days!

Click on any of the dates that are highlighted blue on those calendars - that's where the snapshot is taken from

I was more a spectator of that scene, I don't play an instrument
