gomgeg
No, but it would be good if a candidate could avoid progapating well-worn myths and falsehoods. You'd better tell sgtkate that then, that's who wants to be US president. For some reason she thought she needed my permission. I was flattered of course but I don't even get a vote. Bugger, and I was going to go over there apply for citizenship and vote for you. I'm sure you'd at least make as good a candidate as the last two. ANGELFIRE1
I wonder if the fact that he is racist, sexually abusive, and self obsessed that he won. He, like Farage in UK, liked to play the victim card, by being shunned as not being part of the 'Metropolitan Liberal Elite'. Trump, like Farage is a very wealthy man - and like Farage, allies himself with some of the hoi polloi as he capitalises on their basest instincts - the bigotry and hatred. The fact that they have little money and their kids have little prospects do not concern them. It would be tempting to say people get the politicians they deserve, but plenty of good people didn't vote for Trump; and I'm sure that some who voted for Trump did so because they were frustrated. I suspect they're going to be even more frustrated as he coils back from many of the things he promised to the electorate. Still that won't be his problem - he's rich enough not to have mix with their type. And he can always blame others when things go wrong, or he doesn't get his own way. I do not think Mr Farage is a multi-billionaire as is Mr Trump, or as he is often called "the Donald". To all Mr Trumps detractors, get over it, he is NOW the President of the USA. Angel1. harvey19
Mr. Trump is doing as he said he would and what the people voted for. How many times in this country have people bemoaned our politicians for not doing what they promised to ?
Jacktari
Mr. Trump is doing as he said he would and what the people voted for. How many times in this country have people bemoaned our politicians for not doing what they promised to ? How long have people been so acquiescent to politicians and their whims? People are normally falling over themselves to criticise politicians and their excesses. Is it because this fellow is a loud-mouthed bully, appealing to certain peoples base prejudices and their desire to hang on to the bullies coat tails, that they are 'yes, no sir, three bags full sir-ing' to him?
