In the last calendar year we've had about 2 snowfalls? So they can't say the gritting budget is stretched. Really they are inept. The PIT Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Warminster road and Hemsworth road were done this afternoon but the plough just skimmed over the top of the already compact snow and laid about 3 grains of grit. Explains why it doesn't look like anything has been done. Derbyshire lane is better but the sheet ice has broken into sections so you constantly bouncing up and down. Disgraceful lack of action by the council. They need to get a refund of Amey as they are less effective than an old lady with pot of table salt in her hand.
