  1. I think building a tunnel might be more feasible, possibly cheaper if we dug out the old channel tunnel borer out for renovation.
  2. Ideally not.... You can dispose of it Via PCWorld or Similar Stores who have joined The WEEE Scheme or Take it to the Tip! or Give it Away! or Sell on Here as Spares or repairs. As it may just need INK, give it to a charity case.

  5. Thanks, for your suggestions, Ghozer, Zach, Which seem worth trying, So Far, The wiping was done, by the company selling item, which they claimed was to industry standards, like several times xxxxxxx cleared, then initialised. Yes I remember making a new partition & Reformatting, prior to installing, however it is some Years since me formatting a drive under MSDOS. Plus I recall I could not utilise the /s switch, as it said this no longer applied. However I have since detected a fault of the LAN Port not working, so the Vendor is kindly sending me a replacement unit. I'll see how it goes! With replacement.
  6. When I have any Phone with this problem, I would allow it to run out of Charge naturally then Charge over night with out disconnection, then only charge when exhausted of charge.

  9. This is an interesting question! But it boils down to Where in Sheffield you wish to Live in? I personally have always lived here, apart from temporary jobs in various areas. Also are you willing to compromise on where you buy your House, Food (Lidl, Aldi), Transport you chose use. But at the end you'll have to make those decisions yourself, we as a General City Forum can't or should not advise you without fuller data! IMHO - Yes if your Frugal Person.
  10. Never actually - used it, never got around to setting it up, just sparked up laser to confirm it worked, I was going to try, just something from my Hoards. Time passes etc.. However it has pipes going to a fan motor, So my guess is it's air cooled? I could be wrong however, no expert on these yet!
  11. I own in my possession a 'Laser Etching Machine', however it's intended to burn wood, not Sure I'd personally like to risk it doing that? With it, however if you wish to try I'd sell it you? Then the risk of breaking it being on you!
  12. 13. Depends when you term busy times! Imo if I was you from Home location. I'd join the M1 at Junc 33, leave at Junc 35, through ecclesfield to the wheel, turn left onto Halifax Rd on to Penistone Road. Going home the reverse way. In answer to your initial question? I would Say full dispersal of fans, between 45 - 75Mins.
  14. FYI: When I used to work in the centre of Sheffield, I had a cabin cruiser at the Sheffield Canal Basin, which came with a City Centre Parking Space, Plus Mooring for the Boat... Im sure this still may apply!
