  1. As everyone else has said, please don't let the kittens out at all until they are at least 6 months and recovered from neutering, they are not sensible or mature enough till then. I'm sorry to say that someone has probably seen then, felt worried about their safety and taken them.
  2. Have you rang the dog wardens? thats a really good place to start, I hope that he comes home safe and sound soon.
  3. He's a really cute little chap isn't he? lets hope he's soon got a hearth rug to call his own
  4. I'm guessing that they sell the Logo to make a person appear more trustworthy to customers or members of the public, the worry is that some people might well be gullible enough to pay up to further their business. I think that you may be right Medusa I will give them a call and see what happens.
  5. You have some beautiful cats there midgecat, good luck in finding special homes for them all
  6. I wish that people would care more about their cats in general, where I live there are cats in some terrible states at times, people just don't seem to care beyond the kitten stage, and as is apparent not even then in many cases.
  7. I wasn't quite sure how to title this so please bear with me. This morning I had a phone call from what sounded like a call centre, the Man was very well spoken and asked if I would like to have the Police logo on things such as business cards, my website etc, there was no number on my phone it came up as unknown. It is apparently some kind of community policing thing...the cost of being able to use the logo is £140, surely this can't be right, is it a scam? and has anyone else ever had experience of this?
  8. I just came on to reply to your message and saw this, its really good news and I am so glad that he is now sorted, his owner must be really relieved
  9. I might be able to help (no charge), but need the same info as Booms before I know if I can. I know what it would mean for me to be able to keep my pets in the dogs owners position, I really do feel for him.
  10. And who would that be? as I didn't see any of those.
  11. I certainly have no problem in taking my "rubbish" home its not the end of the world and there are bins at the entrances which I used on the way out...sadly not all will do so though will they and there in lies a lot of the problem. Dog walkers are people too though you know, they pay taxes too and more bins strategically placed might make some difference, just trying to think of ways to make things better for everyone really.
  12. A couple of weeks ago I walked dogs on Wadsley common twice a day over a few days whilst their owner was away, they were on lead and I cleaned up after them, and I found that at 7.20 am there was very little dog poo in evidence, but by 8.20 pm there was loads and all over the paths. The common needs more poo bins!! Dog walkers need to realise that they are spoiling things for themselves and take some responsibility if they want to keep using what is a really lovely resource. For the people that do care it would be a massive loss, there is a wonderful, safe, community feel amongst dog walkers on the common and it is the friendliest, most dog friendly place that I have been, and with some common sense it should be a friendly and beautiful place for everyone to visit. Is it too much to ask that there be some places left for people to safely walk their dogs? there are so many places now where it is difficult, people complain because walkers use parks and understandably sometimes...come on you can't take everything away surely!
  13. Oh I get you, I have had a couple of tins that were actually chunks in jelly but in the supermeat label, but that was a couple of weeks ago, not had any gone off.
  14. Usually I find some at Morrisons or Tesco.
  15. Has no one been looking for the kitten yet Teeny? it was lucky to be found by you really it could have been a much less happy outcome.
  16. I may be able to help, check out my website and if you think that I can help please feel free to give me a ring or send a message what ever is best
  17. He's really handsome, I like Cloud for a name, it suits his blue eyes and is like a follow on from his stable name
  18. It works! So sad to think that half of those lovely puppies won't live to see 2
  19. I also find the best combination to be Frontline and the household spray from the vets, I think animals do catch fleas from grass, and its definitely cats that are the worst for bringing fleas home, if you make sure that the cats are always treated up to date you will get far less problems with the dogs.
  20. I love this story Its great that they are not just going to fill the pools in though, there used to be lots of open air pools for the kids to splash about in at Summertime, no wonder kids these days say that they have nothing to do!
  21. No problems with my car, hope it stays that way
  22. Its a strange place Kepples column, I would love to be able to go inside though, it always used to be full of dead pigeons of course you can't see inside now at all.
  23. Really sorry to hear that you are not well, you will miss the kittens but you have to put your own health first this time
