  1. The fact the UK government felt the need to step and hide information to save Saudi embarrassment speaks volumes. And yet, they've passed the "fit and proper" test for the premier league.
  2. I can't do that because I'm not a policeman, lawyer or accountant with access to their accounts. Equally I couldn't say for certain a house down the road might have drug dealers in because of odd activity at odd hours. I could raise my suspicions to the police. Should I expect them to act or should I wait until I see a big parcel marked "drugs" being delivered before giving them a ring? But they might choose not to. It's not like the police let crimes- big and small -slide.
  3. You don't think any of it is worth the relevant authorities investigating then?
  4. Love? Love??? Besides - they get £20 or they don't. Its not a case of working a couple more hours either. I've been in situations where losing £20 would have been a disaster - not eating disaster. But I've full order books now. I'm alright. I could lose £20 a week and it won't hurt, which is fab. If I had a tax cut - and not that NI increase - I'd be even better off. I should get to keep more money.
  5. Great, because there have been zero price increases since then in food or utilities. And what's the point of food banks if people won't use them?
  6. Haven't seen that one. The global chip is well publisicised and building products are also - to the best of my knowledge - not brexit specific.
  7. FFS - I said who lied most - I'll get a long list of proven Boris lies that you won't you read. I'm not wasting my time.
  8. Please state where I've lied or retract it. Fair enough. For the record I have never subscibed to the driver shortage just being a brexit problem - it goes on longer than that. Other supply chain issues have a more brexit flavour!
  9. Would you change your mind if it was another source? Would 127 represent a victory of some sort? And what's more you haven't even clicked on it you lazy sod. There's a link of the interview with Boris Johnson on BBC breakfast. Who do think lies more? Boris Johnson, Theresa May or Thatcher?
  10. Nepotism? Is this the same Nadine Dorris who employed her on daughter at - I might be a bit low here - £40k year or is it a different Nadine dorris?
  11. I think boris Johnson just made up the 127 figure because it sounded better than 27 judging by this exchange. He lies alot you see. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/boris-johnson-hgv-driver-shortage-27-or-127_uk_615c2bd4e4b0487c85637cf3
  12. But that fuel will be used and if you have a reduced pool of drivers delivering said fuel, there will be shortages if a garage doesn't get it's delivery when it normally does. It will mainly effect the more heavily populated South East - so honestly, who cares - but the threat won't go away completely. Couple of mway services haven't hgv fuel for a couple of days even now.
  13. They are less corrupt and I've always fancied going.
  14. That's good you think that because only 27 applied. Also, that means we don't need the army doing it either?
  15. Why are so many buildings built in 60s and 70s knocked down now? Why were British cars so awful in the same period if all these British time served tradesmen were so awesome?
  16. I don't know, but that's alot of tests the police will be doing. The cost of tests? I don't know. Fortunately, the government know somebody who does testing, at a very reasonable price.
  17. No, they're quite happy for the army to do it (who will earn much less than civilian tanker drivers).
