  1. I'd agree with the top bit. If those who can't see what the fuss is ask 10 random Asians if they mind being called a P*** we would have a better idea!
  2. Can't stop the insults can you, you spiteful thick ****. More banter hope you aren't offended :):):):)
  3. But, in the main, we're getting either ex-lawyers, ex-business/PR types or those who have been involved in politics since leaving uni (via the "right" school of course). How are any of these going to know what's it's like to run out of money before the end of the month, or just to get their kids into a decent state school or even a Dr's appointment? Yes there are exceptions where people have built a career in something worthwhile but they're thin on the ground. If they're earning more than £80k not being an MP, being an MP is the second, less important job.
  4. They need to start making an effort to do so. The press isn't exclusively tory.
  5. You'll be no good as an MP then. But that's we've got now. Professional politicians who then get second jobs when they can use their political connections. There are exceptions of course.
  6. What, the lack of mask in a hospital? Of course it won't be. Also, we won't be talking about corruption tomorrow, it will be Boris without a mask. It's genius really.
  7. That's the only question really. I've no problem with a decision not to book him in the future, I've no problem with him being cancelled for something particularly nasty he's come out with in the press/social media/whatever but he's not done that.
  8. Another fun fact, spam stands for Spiced Processed American Meat.
  9. Nothing wrong with it at all. Nothing. As it's not showing him with a freshly nicked poppy collection tin under his arm, I'd say it shows he's growing as a person.
  10. I'm mad that brexit is damaging the country. It didn't need to, and the deal is awful, so awful frost - who signed off on it - wants to change it. Its a mess.
  11. Not at all Ash, just musing. The other negative of EVs of course is the weight of them and no doubt increased damage to roads. EVs are better than grubby diesels (at a local level definitely) and if kids are being used to mine cobalt then musk etc need to ensure that doesn't happen. Of course the whole working from home through the pandemic was the best of alot of worlds - less traffic (of any kind) - but our dear leader used the tory party conference to bully people back to the office and the roads are clogged up again. We had an opportunity to change working practices and didn't.
  12. The polls disagree. After the week he's had, he's gone up a point.
  13. Carry on as we are then. Who wants clean air anyway? It's not natural I tell thee!
  14. You wouldn't be here for starters And I don't agree with much you say, I just don't think you're a wrong un. It's not even Conservatism that's completely wrong - the whole work hard to improve yourself isn't a bad ethos to have. The current mob have sailed past that and moved onto helping themselves through corruption and out of my, yours and westie's taxes. If you were outed a Conservative mp I'd have to assume you were working an angle to try and eek as much as you can out of the public purse at the detriment of the country.
  15. I'd give it you hackers over the current lot. They are currupt liars who do what they like and then go up in polls. I don't know why they even bothered with the u turn.
  16. I don't think he will. And he'll win it. I cannot fathom why, but there we are.
