blackydog
Enterprise can look cheap as advertsised on their website, but when you get down to pick car up they start warning you that you need insurance for bodywork, windscreen etc even though you included CDW. Sharp practice in my mind and can almost double the price.

Bad_Hair_Day
Hi, my niece is visiting from Australia and would like to hire a car - does anyone know of any local hire companies who would rent one to her? The main rental places only seem to rent to over 25s. Thanks
Puggie
The main rental places only seem to rent to over 25s. Normally there's a big astrix or an allowable exception to the rule that is conditional on you paying a daily surcharge, anywhere from £20-£30 a day extra for drivers under 25. Super Hans
AFP Sheffield hires out small vans from £40, so if you can't find a car use them. Don't have to be 25.
bus man
It may be worth her doing the booking on Line using her oz driving licence that may be easier
rockdog
Has she looked into buying a car, using it for the duration then selling it again.I believe this is what quite a few people do when visiting from afar/for a long time.Luckily you only lose the depreciation
