  1. RED HAS NOW BEEN FOUND!!!! Thanks to everyone for keeping a heads up, always love a happy ending :-)
  2. Just an update on this: (posted in the other thread also) Red is still missing we have literally hundreds of people keeping there eyes peeled incase someone spots him but so far no joy, if anyone has any info or sightings please ring 07795830465 or PM me and ill take it from there, as with anyone that loses a dog its heartbreaking but Red is one special dog and he needs to be reunited with its owner. Thanks

  4. truly unbelievable in soo many ways.... As for the poor girls partner using unreasonable force i have to disagree, if 4 women attacked my partner while i was there, women or not it would end a lot nastier than that. There surely has to be a reform of the court system to provide at the very least some consistency in sentencing
  5. Hi folks Just a heads up to anybody thats lost a cockerill over the last few days, we have one wandering around our works car park and its been here since last night, i have a feeling its come from the allotments in darnall/handsworth Phoned the RSPCA and any capture attempts ended in failure, this bird can shift! So if you have lost paul (i named him paul as he looks like paul scholes! ) let me know. Thanks MODS: feel free to move this thread to lost and found if need be, i just thought more people might see it here and id really like to re-unite with the owner before a 10 ton lorry gets him!
  6. Milburn.....that was a "proper" sheffield indie band and imo were a much better version of the AM's. Very sad day goin to the farewell gig at the 02 academy:mad:
  7. I dont think any victory over Barcelona in a competitive game can be classed as "hollow", although i agree there'll be a beating at the nou. In a sense i hope they do, as knowing Arsenal they'd go out the next stage anyway, its all geared up for a defeat from Stoke now! (no disrespect to orient in the cup but thats not gonna happen.........is it?!
  8. Some of the posts on here are ludicrous! including yours saying Real Madrid are a different class to Arsenal! something similar was said when we played them in the 2006 CL, look how that finished, to be fair i dont/wont compare a 5 year old game to this one. They have wonderfully talented individuals like kaka, benzema and the greaseball that is r*naldo, but something isnt clicking like a proper star team. Arsenal did what they had to do last night, they were playing arguably (or not) the best footballing team in the world so it was never going to be an easy game or one which arsenal would dominate, they did pretty well considering the 2 imbeciles at CB or 3 if you count Eboue who for me isnt and shouldnt be an Arsenal player anymore, they soaked up the pressure, struggled (a lot!) at times and gave very little to messi, although he should have had a couple. And full credit to Arshavin, who i spend every weekend he plays berating and saying he's not worthy of his place (now rightly being occupied by Walcott). Arsenal won, and won the way many teams will have to beat barcelona for a while, determination, good work rate ......and a bit of luck!
  9. Good advice:thumbsup: Adding tapsafe to a new aquarium or letting it stand for a week wont do anything what so ever to mature the tank or stabilise water parameters, it will just remove any harmful contaminants that arent suitable for the fish, The easiest way to ensure the fish are the least stressed are as gluggy mentions by monitoring the nitrogen cycle adding small doses of ammonia, or by asking for a bag of "sponge squeezed" water from a friend, local fish store or another of your own tank setups if you have one, let it settle and take some readings using a test kit, if it needs more bacteria ask for anoter bag etc. i've had tanks that have taken many weeks to be fully stable and also had tanks that ive added fish to just hours after, simply by splitting the filter media and half the tank water and placing them in a new tank. Different tanks have different readings so each is different. Its always wise to have a test kit when keeping any fish, especially if they are pricey £200+ like some of my pleco!
  10. Beat me to it! Its not often i read it, but on the occasions i have i often wondered if certain sections were written by school children as part of a learning development scheme.
  11. i would say its perfectly normal to feel like that, you gave birth to him, feed him, raise him, mother him, cloth him and now somebody else is doing the same. Its bounds to feel a little strange due to the fact that somebody who is close to your ex is now spending time with your child, and doing the things that you do and take for granted. im sure in time you will look at it differently, plus it means the money you were gonna spend on clothes you can now spend on treating him to something else like a toy or day out instead
  12. Im hoping its not the water, i keep rare fish that are quite expensive, they started to act strange after the thaw and one died on sunday, at £250 each i hope its the last!!! the water has had a stronger than usual smell of chlorine, which de-chlorinators will sort out, im just hoping thats the last of my dead fish, as theres another 6 in there!
  13. know how your feeling, im in the same situation with my daughters main xmas present and its annoying to say the least, im even thinking of just going out and re-buying it then sending the other back, which is not ideal but what else can i do. as for the evening deliveries im not sure, but i did get some jeans delivered this sunday that id ordered 12 days ago on a 3 day delivery. when i asked him why he was working on a sunday he replied "triple money". lovely eh?!
  14. social engineering could be the future of policing
  15. known him 25 ish years and he hasnt always been bad , more of a "do now, think later" type attitude that ended up with him being like he is. *i dont encourage, condone or approve of arson or armed siege's btw!*
