Is there anything interesting going off in Sheffield this Thursday? (29th Sept)

I'm taking an elderly lady out for the afternoon; poor mobility, can't eat, doesn't fancy a pub, and  very limited finances.

Any ideas?

Take her to a garden centre, nice and warm,  they usually have spare wheelchairs,  they have lots of books and you can buy her some flowers or a plant.

Or the Winter Garden...

... it'll be warmer! :)

Parking in town might be more challenging, but the warmer conditions are a better idea, especially given the weather forecast 👍

Good shout.

There's the Central Library across the road, so they can have a look round the Museum.

Thankyou all so much for your replies. Some great ideas here.

I think it's going to be a stroll round the Winter Garden, perhaps a look in some of the galleries, depending on what's on, (and if there's seating available,) and then a nice cup of tea and a cake.

I'll log the other ideas and save them for another time.

Thanks again.
