Thats because there isnt one that doesnt involve spending vast, vast quantities of money.

So the little man gets shafted once again...

All this money sloshing around in the economy (more than at any time in history,) and yet we can't even provide the basic for people.

How do you think people who start work at 2,3,4,5am get into work? Hmm?

How about a 24 hour bus route for every street!

I don't know.

When I was using public transport in the 60s and 70s things were very different and much better.

But hey, we don't want to go back to the bad old days do we?

Public sector net debt excluding public sector banks and the Bank of England (PSND ex BoE) was £2,068.4 billion at the end of June 2022.

Where's this magic money you claim to be 'sloshing around the economy'

This is the crux of every problem. Too much money in the hands of too few, while everyone else has to exist on the crumbs.

These problems (and there are so many more in the pipeline) can never be solved until that changes.

Not at all. A Cheap shot.

Are you a Neoliberal?

You don't have to be a communist to see the inequality in this, and how it is impacting on everyday life.

Are all the people objecting to the Truss /Kwasi mini budget communist?

I don't think so.

Get the big guys like Amazon to pay their correct taxes, and a lot of the problems would be solved.

Night buses on all streets?

Dangerously close there to me getting my klaxon out (no pun).
