But you’d get in a car that had a 3% chance of killing you, otherwise?

You need to go and find that plot.

No because I don't have underlying conditions.

If were using a car analogy do you read the Highway Code before every single trip to make sure you know every single rule and regulation or do you trust that your experienced enough with your driving skills to accept a small element of risk?

No, no, this is progress: @top4718 is

(1) advancing the CDC as a reliable source; and

(2) suggesting that 1% in the context of dying is a small number.

This puts things in a new light.

Not sure the car thing works well as an analogy.

How ever much we are trained it's relying on all those round us to obey the rules

Presumably, @top4718 would have been happy to sacrifice a significant fraction (not everybody will get ill) of 1% to have avoided lockdown.

I quoted the CDC as a source of information several days back and you flat out said you did not trust ,any if them from memory.

Your second point proves what I said - you drive with an element of risk because of the benefits that driving gives you, thanks for confirming.

There's no emotional blackmail: I am just interested to know if I understand your position (at last).

I think that the 90% of us would like the other 10% to join the team.

Are you vaxxed yet?

You won't answer my question because you've painted yourself into the proverbial corner.
