I heard about this on RS earlier...

Its a pleasant gesture but I personally wouldn't take it, a season tickets a gamble, you can't guarantee a good or bad season.

I can't see anyone taking it. (well I don't mean zero exactly, but near as)

It's an odd move, but sounds very business savvy to me, so you can tell Chansiri makes decisions. He's basically saying, if you don't like it, have your money back, meaning no one can complain. - but clever because anyone that takes it, will be known as someone taking money from the club. And in either case, he's put the ball in your [pl] court.

Very business like.

Like you say, a season ticket is a gamble. I've seen United relegated several times with season ticket, and as much as said - I'm not going again - I did :hihi:

Season tickets also cause problems (although good for cash up front), because you can't do 'business deals' as easily during the season, and I bet he'd rather do that.

If there were no season ticket holders, he (as all clubs could do) could just say, right, a pound each next 5 games - or something like that.

Gave my season ticket up at the end of last season, not because of the price or quality of football being played, but i dont, want to go to a match when it suits Sky Tv. Saturdays at 300pm with the occassional midweek game is enough for me, That said been to most this season. Monday, Thursday Friday Sunday No thanks not nowadays.

Yes, this was why I stopped buying them. I was giving my ticket away too often (maybe 3 or 4 times a season) because couldn't go due to work.

Hearing very strong rumours its Paul Lambert, could be announced tomorrow.

Not a bad shout in the current climate, knows the league and plenty of experience.

No offence mate but our chairman has always said he wants attractive football, Karanka won’t provide that.
