Derek Bickerstaff - Thornbury and Claremont

Alexander Anderson - Thornbury and Claremont

Mr Narendra Garneti - Thornbury and Claremont

Professor J Mark Wilkinson - Claremont

Bickerstaff is the top of the list and specialises in knee. Rather than doing it as a side line to hip / hand ect.

I've done my cruciate twice, and had it put back together by Bickerstaff, and Paul Sutton. Sutton was excellent, and the new (relatively) procedure is an epidural, as opposed to full anaesthetic. A bit weird, but far better.

Mr Sutton is currently looking after my knee -can't recommend highly enough.

I've got multiple torn ligaments (including a completely fried PCL) and due to the complications with the initial injury, we're actually proceeding non-operatively for now (as he said quite plainly " if we'd tried fixing your knee at the same time as repairing the artery you'd have lost your leg" but he's been really involved, and thanks to him, I still have a leg!

Sometimes the best surgeons are the ones who know when *not* to cut.
