NicDan&Oz   10 #26 Posted September 20, 2017 Have I got this right then, we are spending £2 million on towers/chimneys to replace the original towers that were demolished?
 Share this content via...

Sheffield would be completely barren with nothing to look at bar an enormous state of the art cancer ward dominating the skyline. alchresearch   215 #31 Posted September 20, 2017 Do we have a link? I posted this one this morning, but this Tinsley one is £450,000:  http://www.thestar.co.uk/whats-on/out-and-about/tinsley-towers-replacement-revealed-cracked-hovering-leaning-and-knotted-chimney-sculptures-to-form-huge-450-000-canalside-art-trail-in-sheffield-1-8761291
 Share this content via...
geared   321 #32 Posted September 20, 2017 I'd be interested to see how the hovering chimney and knot chimney are going to work.  Be slightly disappointed if they were all just made out of plastic and just painted to look like brick. There are already loads to look at in Shefield for example the flippin eyesore Park hill flats which some idiot listed. Yet another great decision . NOT. This council are good at pullin summat down and then rebuilding the same. Now I realise why they listed Park Hill flats so anther idiot wouldn't rebuild the exact same eyesore. Thats what I call real budgeting. Edited September 20, 2017 by PRESLEY
 Share this content via...
