muddycoffee   10 #8 Posted December 10, 2013 You will be very lucky to find any pubs open xmas day evening  Not so. there have always been pubs and clubs open on Christmas day. I've never been in on that day but for decades I've noticed them as I've driven relatives home. I can say this for sure right back to the 1980s and it still happens today.  I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I know several people who don't do anything at Christmas and going for a little drink might be a way for them to get some social life, especially when there is so much closed. Bruno   10 #9 Posted December 10, 2013 Considering it falls on a Wednesday and looking at it as a normal day where would you normally drink?
 Share this content via...
No User Name   10 #10 Posted December 10, 2013 Oh for gods sake. Do people normally have a full roast dinner at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon?  People do different things at Xmas. Sometimes, this involved drinking more than normal. Get over it.
 Share this content via...

999tigger   10 #12 Posted December 10, 2013 I thought it was tradition that some families go for a drink in the early afternoon whilst some other people prepare the christmas meal?
 Share this content via...
