airking
She never started a war but new how to end one by winning. She cut out the dead wood of our industrial past. She followed her convictions with no regard for her reputation. She was the best leader this country ever had. She is hated by those who can't understand what its is to lead from the front. She had more balls than all men in her midst. Like a parents tough love she made people depend on themselves not others. She is what this country needs again, not the weak limp fools who govern us now. Â 3.6 million unemployed is a lot of deadwood the highest figure ever and nearer 5m without juggling the numbers. BIGDINNERS
All these negative post's seem to forget one thing, Thatcher was elected by the British people and the majority re-elected her again. Â It seems that 1000,000's were happy with her attempts to make Britain stand on its own 2 feet and defend itself, while 1000's were not happy because it altered their lives or they couldn't get their own way. El Cid
 It seems that 1000,000's were happy with her attempts to make Britain stand on its own 2 feet and defend itself, while 1000's were not happy because it altered their lives or they couldn't get their own way.  And thousands were happy because they got ££££ discount when they bought their council house. alchresearch
There's a good IT related article about Thatcher and the Post Office on today's 'Reg, well worth a read to relive the glory days of the dinosaur that was the old GPO phone system. Â Post-miners strike, her popular vote increased, so the UK population not only wanted her as the next PM, more wanted her not less. Â Like I said, the losers will always be unhappy and try to justify their losing position.
I1L2T3
Very sad people celebrating that are celebrating her death. Nothing but hatred in their lives. Â I am very left wing but I don't get this either. Somebody has died. No matter the transgressions of the person it's wrong to celebrate it in this way. mikem8634
Well in her own words Maggie thought Mandela was "a grubby little terrorist" she also fought against sanctions on apartheid South Africa. Â Exactly - a regime founded upon terror if there ever was one.
skinz
I find this totally sad, to be honest. Have people got nothing better in their lives than hatred? Her family do not and should not be subjected to this. Â Â Some would argue the same sentiment for lost communities. When Mark and Carol are attacked by lefties in riot gear on horseback then your lament may hold water. Â The Thatcher family were not and are not subject to a fierce bloody violent onslaught by state goons.
