Hi all, I'm looking for decent food for my vegan friend. Any suggestions from those of you with similar tastes?

The Blue Moon cafe (by the Cathedral) is a veg place with vegan dishes - its good for lunch & tea, but closes at 8pm.

 

Pure on Raw is a raw vegan place at Shalesmoore

Thats probably your lot for strictly veggie places. However most curry places have a lot of veggie options, though anyone who's vegan should check its not cooked in ghee (clarified butter).

 

Chinese & Thai food doesnt tend to use dairy products - apart from egg - which is easily missed out - so you can get vegan options BUT double check that fish or oyster sauce isnt used in cooking

Do we have an updated vegan list at all? I have vegan friends coming into town and want to take them out.

 

I know Las Iguanas offer a vegan/vegetarian menu but I kind of want to take them to Sheffield restaurants rather than just chain restaurants.
