RWM1967 Â Â 10 #75 Posted July 17, 2016 Try "DSS Move" website, every property advertised on there accepts DSS. Â Also worth looking on Gumtree, or even placing a property wanted ad on Gumtree (I believe this is free).
 Share this content via...
GerryBooth   10 #76 Posted July 17, 2016 There is a list of private landlords in the property shop.  Also as said try Gumtree under property wanted. I have found decent tenants on there.
 Share this content via...

Ghozer   113 #83 Posted April 5, 2018 Some buy to let mortgages state that you can not rent the property out to tenants receiving benefits.  ... There is no legal reason why they cannot let to DSS tenants.. and is actually discrimination to not allow DSS tenants..  It's more of a 'choice' by individual landlords....  For mortgages though it could be different to renting as they have to be sure that the mortgage will be paid and continue to be paid each month etc, it's more like a financial loan...
