I find opening the door and immediately saying "No thank you" and shutting the door is extremely effective. The charities I choose to give to I give to with good reason and I don't appreciate someone coming onto my property to attempt a fruitless guilt trip on me. DannyGUK
We had one yesterday from the RSPCA asking for only 22p a day to help the animals, I wounder who was paying him. Just £6 a month then lol. I had once applied for a job when i saw a job advertised on the internet (earn £300+ a week working when you want) i applied as soon as i found out it was collecting for charitys door to door i did not even turn up for interview, although would'nt have been a bad pay for a 16 year old £7.50 p/h plus bonus. makes you wondered how much the charitys pay them for each signup, and how much of the money you donate goes to these guys and not the charity/cause lol. Grandad.Malky
No he was asking me to donate that much to the charity, my point was how many does he have to sign up to cover his pay before the charity gets anything.
